Personally, I would go with the dynamic in a second. It’s absolutely beautiful, has great airflow, and has amazing water cooling support.
Is this build themed? I can't tell.
jk amazing build and mods!
Wow that is crazy. Amazing build, nice custom cables!
Just realized I have the same headphones lol
Coolermaster RGB air pressures
Please fix your RAM! It'll make your RAM perform way better.
Overall though, nice build
no other words
I'd recommend the Zenbook from Asus, except that their trackpad sucks. Good performance and portability for the price but some shortcomings.
If you've got the money, an XPS 15 would be a great fit.
Kgrigio’s original post had all Newegg business links so I set mine to the same
I'd say the only things wrong were the motherboard and PSU.
X370 is overkill for a 2200G, and that SFF PSU makes you pay too much when you have the room for a ATX one.

But they have a Linus, soo that cutting tech might not be that useful xD
That is one of the best sleepers ever (if you can call it a sleeper lol)
Newest, mostly documentation tabs/gdocs
uhh if my browser can use 6gb of RAM with only 20 tabs I’d call that terrible RAM management
There are many applications and use cases for 32gb or even more RAM. While most modern games don’t use even 16gbs, professional or even hobbiest level CAD, video editing/rendering and Virtualiziation can easily use more than 16gbs (not to mention chrome uses more RAM than ever lol).
I’d say buy a cheap 60gb ssd for windows, totally worth it
high quality response received. completely understand now, u should buy that fridge as your pc case now.
y you be a fridge
Definitely an SSD, it is hands down the easiest way to improve your computer's responsiveness and general speed.
Ok thanks much! Trying to get out of buying a Xeon just for ECC.
The manual says with Ryzen PRO CPUs (OEM products). Does it still support it with nonOEM Ryzen CPUs?
Apart from a USB 3.1 gen 2 C no
Mainly to prevent me from losing it. It sounds silly but I've lost multiple USB ones before,
If they mount the SSD in the back it will be visible because of the Evolv's dual glass panels.
nice build. are you running the hdds in RAID? was just wondering
I'd say this is a really good build for that range:
Also fyi if you don't want to fiddle around with optane to get it to work on AMD just omit it
minesweeper at 20fps right?
"cue" well timed gif. idk at this point
nice pun in desc. +2
nice sleeper. I've actually got one of those old dell towers myself
The same thing happens for 90 -> 480gb. No options in between.
You've got one!
ba dum cha
nice mx master. always wanted one lol. This really will chew through any CAD/CAM workload, and is pretty balanced! Gj mate
Should be new pictures now
Have to downsize the photos a minute. PCPP doesn't accept 6000x4000 photos
Original Pixel XL. I'll get some better pictures up in a minute
My phone. Camera is in for RMA right now
They happen to be labeled on this block :)
You're probably asking for silicon lottery if you want 2800mhz on 2400 RAM. Maybe increase the voltage a bit, but don't overdo it (obviously).
For you, probably stock voltage and 3.4ish gHz, since you are using the stock cooler. Without a 3rd party solution for cooling, I’m not sure how much farther you can go.
Ok, so, a 2600 is only marginally better than a 1600, but at the very small price step up I’d say do the 2600. They literally perform basically the same in gaming, but the 2600 does have small advantages in workstation tasks like video editing (source: userbenchmark). To be honest, the choice between B350 and B450 for you would really depend on price and aesthetics, since the main advantage of B450 is overclocking performance. Since you said you wouldn’t be overclocking, this really isn’t an issue. Single versus dual fan GPUs is really your choice. Sometimes dual fans will have better cooling results, but I’ve had mixed results with my cards. The GPU you have listed is from a good brand, and has plenty of cooling for a 1060. And no, you wouldn’t need more case fans for a single fan, as long as you have an exhaust and intake fan in your case to keep at least some air moving through. Please go 6gb on a 1060. This is just my opinion, but if someone wants to buy a 3gb 1060 I would say just go buy a 1050ti. The performance increase from 3gb to 6gb in modern titles is not at all negligible, and price isn’t a major factor.
IMO, fully modular is worth it, just because of the flexibility it gives you when building your system. You only have to put the cables in that you need, so that reduces clutter and makes cable management way easier. Also, you can get full replacement cables from CableMod or companies that perform the same service to replace ugly included cables with really sweet, good looking cables if you’re into that.
As for cases, my personal favorites are either the P350X from phanteks, the P400 or P400S from phanteks, or if you’re willing to spend a bit, a meshify C from Fractal Design is a really solid case.
Also, the seasonic 520w bronze is a good choice, won’t blow up or catch on fire, and has plenty of wattage for your system, while still being fully modular. And one final note: you can probably find a Toshiba 1tb HDD for less than the WD one, and it’ll perform the same. Just please get 7200rpm unless the only reason for the HDD is archiving footage.
Where's the pump lol I can't find it
The g601 is nice
prob wasn't in the budget
Sweet. I saw some reviews saying it’s packaging was not adequate, are these true or is it just because they preordered?
