Wow thats a KILLER deal on both cards. Makes we want to get the RX 480 just to re-sell. For my rig though, I just wish they weren't that red MSI model.
I didn't ask for your opinion on what product to buy, I asked for products for sale but thanks for the useless tip. The "hastle" seems to be how many trolls there are in this forum. I dont even see this many troll posts in Reddit, and that's saying a lot.
You've already trolled a couple of my threads and some from others I've seen, so please kindly stay out of mine.
1) You're wrong. LGA1151 is one of the most popular platforms being bought and sold on the market right now and there are lots of Z170 motherboards that don't have red on them. If you're on this website you should be aware of the list.
2) I've noticed you like to troll lots of threads with unhelpful pieces of opinion like that. Keep it to yourself and unless you have products for sale, stay out of my threads please.
I'm interested... would like to know which model it is though.
2GB or 4GB model?
I'm interested in the motherboard and cpu if you end up parting it out. Literally about to buy it somewhere so figured I might as well check here.
wish I had a microcenter near me... closest one is 8 hours away in Virginia.
No... Jet.com is $230.
I've definitely watched his videos. That thing does pretty well. Maybe I will just have to hold out for a nice cheap motherboard.
Asking price is good... I would pay $170-$180 for it if I had it right now.
Wish I had the money for the processor and memory... good luck with your sale!
He was more gracious than I'm going be... thats a dirty lowball offer DPRutledge. Reliable after 11 months of use? Give me a break. Easily a $120 used motherboard and $80 worth of memory on the used market.
OP - $160-200 would be a decent offer/asking price in my opinion.
Hmmm... good point. I never even considered purchasing a new GPU. You think its worth it to buy new graphics cards? I haven't ever bought any expensive ones (Always stuck to sub $100 ones)
I agree with you on the processor. That's exactly why I posted this and thank you for your honest feedback on that. I am just thinking that even though the chip is free I dont have any motherboards to go with it so to spend $100 on a motherboard for that chip is kinda pointless when I can get a nicer $100 motherboard for a newer chip.
As far as the graphics card I'm leaning more towards a GTX 970... even the RX 470 4GB are going for a lot more on the used market than the 960 2 or 4. They are going for around the $160-180 price which I can definitely get a 970 for. The RX 470 8GB are in the $190-210 range which is crazy considering what you can get for $200 brand new (RX 480 4GB, GTX 1060 3GB, etc) but thats what they're selling for, for some reason. But here's the question I pose on that...
GTX 970 or RX 470 4GB?
Nah it wouldn't be my main computer but why wouldn't it play current games? And please dont say GPU... the whole "I have to have 60 fps in ultra settings or nothing" thing is really starting to get old. I've been watching too much youtube. Subsequently, I could add $30-$50 more and get a used GTX 970 or RX 470 that I KNOW would play current games at decent settings if thats what you meant. That much price difference wouldn't hurt my feelings : )
I honestly dont even know what a blue Alps switch is lol
I have two I5 750 (LGA 1156) processors and an EVGA Supernova NEX750B1 semi-modular PSU I will sell or I can swap it into my machine and sell the EVGA 600B. Either is fine with me... PM me if you're interested in them.
Nah... lesser is fine. Mothballed?? Does that mean not working or just hasn't ran in a while? If It works, how much you want for it shipped to 28213?
lots... OE, gaming, or otherwise? wireless or wired?
Not surprising at all coming from Samsung
Thanks for the link/tip. If I can avoid Reddit I will try to. Its the most unorganized forum I've ever been on and OMG the trolls on there are plentiful. Took me 10 min to get frustrated with it.
I have a bunch of stuff... most of it is lower end though. Better if we start with what you might be looking for. But for starters:
EVGA Supernova B1 750 watt semi modular PSU
EVGA 600B PSU
Belkin Wifi dongles (several)
wireless mice of various brand
Some 19" monitors
Dell desktop computers galore... lots of 775 chipset computers and components from ones I parted out... motherboards, Core 2 chips, cases, etc
Right now I have about 20 working/complete Dell laptops of various variety if you're looking for a laptop... most are I5's. I get laptops in about every 2 weeks. Never know what I will get but if you tell me what you're looking for I can definitely try to get it.
Email email@example.com or post here is fine too.
Agreed... I recently purchased a Samsung SSD but it very well might be the LAST Samsung electronic device I ever purchase. I looked up reviews on similar washer/dryer sets and A LOT of people have had the same exact issue with their dryer. Cracked drums and pics of them all over the internet. Samsung SHOULD have had a recall on them but they sold in astronomical numbers. Oh well... life goes on but live and learn.
I definitely wont ever buy a Samsung appliance or phone. I dont particularly care for Apple stuff but Iphones (and Ipads) are amazing and very reliable so I will stick with them. Not getting the Iphone 7 though. My 6plus is still working great.
I'm interested... email pics and info to firstname.lastname@example.org
for $250 per monitor you should be able to get decent sized (24-27") 1440p monitors. I would wait until around Christmas time to spend that kind of money though... definitely a lot better deals out there starting around mid Nov.
I'd pay $80 for it if you're still wanting to sell it
That deal in Jet is a 4GB model, not an 8GB
