wasn't so sure about the color scheme when looking at the partslist, but it turned out quite well imo.
kind of gives me a mirror's edge vibe
oh, go away
sorry for responding so late, but yes, I had to raise it very slightly; so little it's not even noticeable when looking at it, and yes, it clears the side panel with about an inch to spare.
idk if you've seen this, but:
wow, that looks fantastic
never seen a white 570x before, looks much nicer than black imo
tfw you just steal my original PC's name
that looks fantastic
I seem to recall that cooler was extremely loud in my old G3258 build. How is the noise for you?
jesus christ that cable management
I just used the pump bracket holes there originally
could only attach with 3 screws, but whatever
I see we had the same idea f or Hue+ mounting in the Evolv. It's almost made to mount there lmao
that's beautiful, and so minimalist
quite the first build. In the future, white sleeved cable extensions would make the build "pop" even more.
I never thought I could say a stock cooler looks fantastic, but the Wraith Spire truly does
you confuzzled me with the "2011 sandy bridge" part
sweet build though
correct me if I'm incorrect, but isn't the 3820/3930k/3960x much more powerful than the 7600k?
seems as if an upgrade would really be more of a downgrade tbh.
wow, that's stunning
but why not Ryzen? 8 cores and 16 threads for less than the 6850k, and would probably be better for running VMs.
regardless, beautiful build, that Taichi is stunning
the photos are super unique as well
lol the 1800x scored 1800
that's not a 980ti in your pics
might want to change the partslist to a 970
It's been great. No problems, and keeps my 5820k nice and cool at 4.5 ghz (1.31 volts), while staying super quiet. Haven't noticed any bending of the motherboard, rock solid.
what desk is that?
that's quite a riptide right there
lol saw this on twitter.
sweet build, and that matrix shroud looks incredible
how high are you right now
pls overclock that CPU. pls.
If you'd held out until RyZen, there might have been a cheap CPU in your price range that would best the 8350, or a pricedrop on Intel's stuff that made it more competitive.
holy ******* ****. My X99 system feels so inadequate now.
while I might not agree with some of those part choices, it's still a sweet build, and sweet photos.
yeah, because I only need them for 2 cables. Cablemod's pricing is atrocious
yep, hoping to find somewhere to 3d print some soon
Yes, a 6850k would be perfect if you're using a lot of PCI-e devices that take up lanes (SSDs, GPUs, etc).
I'm actually using the built in wifi on this board atm, and it's fantastic. If you can find a board with it built in, that's perfect, although wifi cards are cheap as well.
hope this helps
he's so thicc
the front LED is
you'll love the evolv
everything needs RGB
cryorig r1 ultimate master race assemble!
ah, I see. Still looks like a sweet build
may it serve you well
sweet build but why the sideways x61?
it's a z270 board...
man, this looks amazing
