The natural bends of the soft tubes can look better than hard tubes, like in this case!

I never mounted horizontal in my case but you can check it out in my completed build list for my temps

Agreed. This card is so flashy I had to mount it vertically and sacrifice the temps a little.

That's good to hear, temps are great too. I actually have the gaming x trio in my build :) it was my first choice. anyway, glad you fixed all the issues!

Cool build, Gaming X trio +1 and is that 2x8 pin +6 pin on the card? Tell us about the temps too!

I would redo the thermal paste on the gpu, I think there are how-to videos on that.

No problem. It’s a good monitor and the only thing I don’t like about it is the stand design, it takes more space on your desk than other ones

I just tested out G-sync on the monitor after I saw your comment. It actually works.

There are lists of best cases online too but I like the Lian-li o11 dynamic, cooler master h500, nzxt h700 and I use the Phanteks Evolv x personally.

All fans are intake so you have negative air pressure inside. The two fans in the front should be intake (flipped around). Otherwise, nice AMD build

ahh i see, maybe the best solution is to find a local laser cutting service and send them an illustrator file of the cuts, you can do some custom designs on it too. Its making me wanna try it on my build too lol

Comment reply on Sovereignty's Completed Build: White Out SnowBlind Mod/Build

Very nice and clean! Wish they sold the transparent screen/panel alone! You should use an Exacto knife to score the cuts a few times until it breaks if you want to redo the mobo cover but ofc laser cutting it will ensure perfection

SLI you mean NVLink, and sadly at the moment a lot of games don't support dual cards. The samsung 970 Pro is one of the fastest m.2 ssds out there and the evo is slower but still marginally faster than say a $70 drive. I agree with the cable management though but thats easily fixable.

Hey man, I have an i7 8700k running @ 5GHz as well. Using the same motherboard too! How was the delidding process? how long did it take you and what tools did you use? I am curious and I'm thinking about it. My chip hit 5.1 GHz @ 1.37v stable but temps often spiked into the high 80s. Now I have it at 5.0GHz 1.325v stable and in the 70s during full load. thx

Those numbers are quite high especially the memory. Probably possible because you have those bottom intakes feeding it. nice nice..

I have the same card mounted the same way in the same case. Even after overclocking the card is in the mid-50s and never above 61c during gaming. During extensive GPU bench it will heat up to the high 60s but that's about it.
