Well technically they shipping en route soooo now I'am having second thoughts lol. Both are 169.99 and from what I read there are barely any differences when gaming and some difference when doing other tasks. Decisions....
I see. I got the ripjaws for 169.99 as well so same price. I had looked at the night hawks before but didn't want to spend the extra ~$30. Thanks for explaining, I'm gonna have to look into RAM's more in depth.
Sorry I didn't see the rest of the thread on my phone! Thanks for the mouse suggestion. To be honest I have a Razer keyboard already so I wanted to match that and the deathadder got good reviews over at pcgamer.com.
I see. Thank you for the suggestions! I have already ordered the RAM sticks though. Would the differences between the two be enough to return and use the Vulcan ones instead? I had chosen some 3000 RAM sticks at first but they cost more and the Ripjaws had slightly better latency times.
I see thank you for your input. To be honest I don't really care about the founders or regular edition either, it's just that it's the only versions they have lol. I wouldn't mind the regular cheaper versions. The ones by gigabyte and other third party resellers cost even more so it's better if I stick to the ones from Nvidia.
Yeah at my bestbuy a 1070 and a 1080 runs $430 and $570 respectively (assuming they're in stock). So I'm just waiting around pretty much. Just deciding if I really need to spend the extra $140. My cost right now before the cards is around $1110.
Thank you for the information! I wish I checked the current topics before posting my own (I just decided to build my first PC and started to explore this site more thoroughly). Great timing on my end -_-. I'm hoping to pick up a GTX 1080 or 1070 soon but I won't be paying more than the MSRP. My local BestBuy has the GTX 1080 founders edition for $569 but of course it's sold out. I hope this GPU shortage ends sooner than later.
