I have no idea who you are, but ive spent the last hour reading through all your builds and I love what youve done! I'm building a PC for my mom for some office work and its always cool to see others build PC's for relatives who have a good knowledge of performance with flare but also reasonable. Mad respect!
lmao at least 3000 viewers on twitch and haven't set it up yet? Good luck buddy, nice gear doesn't mean your'e instantly successful as a streamer, especially on twitch...
haha with a name like budgie lord, makes sense you noticed my feather baby! his name is qubit, he spends a lot of time at my desk with me! thank you! lol
did you install the mobo correctly? the orientation of everything in here is just very bizarre. Either way, good job! but I feel like its a bit 'tight' and jumbled looking.
omg I remember seeing this ram on the g-skill instagram I believe and I didn't think it actually existed...and if it did, be RGB as well. NOW I REALLY WANT IT. lol beautiful build!
love the cooler and fans ;) i have them as well and they work wonderfully!
we have very similar builds! aside from your gpu being a slight better! i like your taste! I started building mine in march as well!
i have the 1060 and im not gonna lie i absolutely love it. It runs every single game beautifully, and doesnt get hot ever nor make any sound. I highly recommend it. (I have the gigabyte geforce 1060 OC 6G)
Oh trust me ive wanted to do that for awhile. I don't have the original key anymore for my OS, so i cant just reinstall it alone onto a small SSD. Its on the 1TB HDD, which is now completely full so in order to clone it onto a SSD, it would have to be a 1TB since you cant just clone the OS alone.
Nice solidworks build !
ah we have kind of similar builds! LOVE yours!
i loveee that cpu cooler! im envious of your case, howis the air flow in it?
i personally enjoy ryzen much more than intel, but I use it for gaming, my company has always been tilted more towards intel, so I didn't wanna throw em off too much.
ive heard the complete opposite about ryzen and workstations lol
I did the same exact thing when I plugged my monitor hdmi into the mobo instead of the gpu, your'e not alone lol
this is frickin epic, and a great price
i have the same case but the usb connectors and such are on the top and not front facing by the cd drive. I like the location of yours much more
thank you! This computer will be strictly for solidworks/cad work so gaming bonuses didn't exist. Ive built a gaming pc but offered to help design the PC at my job and its been pretty interesting to see the differences that the GPU requires.
i'm curious to hear this answer, i'm planning on building a pc for solidworks for my company
this entire review really just irritated me
I used this case in my builld, although i absolutely love the size and clearance within the case- I think it lacks a bit in the "ease-of-cable management' realm. That and I suck at cable management, but My boyfriend recently build a pc using the fractal design meshify and his appeared to have many more options to sneak wires through out of site compared to the focus G.
I would totally buy it, its great for the price and assembly wasnt too bad. Its a huge box though (thin but really wide) so that part was tough. There are originally supposed to be two file cabinet-like folders in the left hand shelf but I left them out to make room to use it as a normal shelf.
Woooo I have the same processor and a GTX Geforce 1060 6G and have been super happy with every game Ive played so far. Have there been any yet that have given you any problems?
Oh my, I thought the city skyline was a poster until I saw the daytime photo. What a beautiful view! and beautiful PC
Looks great! Its so easy to go overboard when you start off thinking its going to be a budget build. Happened to me lol
All of your scary moments make me want to write about all of my 'sweats' during my build. Aside from the radiator for my closed loop cooler being about 2 centimeters too big to fit due to the tiny corner of my optical drive, to find out that my radiator valve was damaged and began to leak (so I guess I was lucky to notice that before everything was plugged in and powered on) and yeah, the graphics card was one of the last things I put in, THANK GOD because all of the pins were practically impossible to reach once it was in there.
All in all, I love your build/scheme! I finally put in my two LED pink fans!
not at all!
so far im really enjoying it!
I think i had stated that in the description of the build! but I agree, I only had placed the cpu fan on that side because it was the side i could clip it onto easier without fumbling around too excessively. I'm going to go back in there this weekend and try to move it on the right hand side.
I had bought if off of amazon, I can send you the link ! :)
I wanted to have it on my part list but couldn’t find it on he options for keyboards on here !
