Mainstream pizza place? Like the junk cardboard stuff that all the southern states seam to think is pizza? I'm in a pizza city. We don't have many of those places, they don't last... Papa John's lasted under a year lol I feel so bad for most of you... You have no idea what pizza should taste like if this is all you guys have :(

Modern rap... All of it... Especially that mumble bs or that nonsense unicorn looking face tattoo rapper stuff that's popular now. The old stuff was one thing, but this modern nonsense is just horrible... Its like the whole generation listening to it just got high on flocka and purple drank one day and never sobered up. Disgusting noise vomit.

Repetition kills it... That station should probably play some other nirvana tunes instead of just that one. It's a great tune, but you can get sick of anything if you hear it too often. Try requesting they play other nirvana tunes and see if they do.

Bachman used to make the best crinkle cut salt and vinegar... Not sure if they still do since I never see them any more. Best chip ever though

Also, Doritos Salsa Verde... The o e from the late 90s, which is way different (and spicier) than the one they released again years later.

Need:

Number 2 philips screwdriver (longer ones with magnetic tips are nice, especially ratcheting ones)

knife for opening packages

Should Have:

small zip ties (cable management reasons... velcro straps are nice too)

Number 1 philips screwdriver (in case you need a smaller one for something like m.2 drives or accessories)

small pair of dikes for cliping zip ties

Might Want:

a nice camera for documenting the build

flashlight (to look for fallen screws or see what your doing better if the room lighting is not enough)

  1. If you live in an area where you get alot of rain or snow, then get a car as your primary, but if your in a mostly dry area that never gets snow, go for it. Keep in mind that you also will not have the space that a car has either, so you can't carry as much stuff with you (very important if you do your own shopping or buy take out food alot).

  2. Bikes are very cheap to own, though some things can be expensive... Example, your air filter on the car may be $15 while the bike is $50... You might use 87 octane gas in your car, but in the bike you should almost always use 91 or 93 instead (about a 50 cent difference per gallon in my area, but my car gets 25mpg while my bike gets 52mpg, so still cheaper in the long run). The bug thing is that there are less parts, they are generally easier to service, and even if parts cost more, your less likely to need to buy so many so often lol.

  3. If you want a cruiser style the rebel is very light in performance, but it's also a 250... Stepping up to a 500 or 750 will put you in a decent enough performance level for daily use. (that's for a cruiser type... If you look at a sports bike, the power and performance is wildly different and a 600 is actually a very fast bike usually while a 250 can get you around fine on highways still)

Also, you may have the wrong idea about cheap cars... Spend a little, fix a little, if something huge breaks, then you sell the parts or scrap them and get a big portion of that cash back so you can buy another one... Also, learn to fix most things yourself. YouTube has extreme numbers of diy videos for almost every repair on almost every car you would buy... Watch them, buy parts online instead of for dealer prices, and fix it yourself... You can swap front brake rotors and pads at a shop for $300+ or for the same car do it yourself with good components for $50-75... Treat cars like computers and learn your way around the components a bit to do your own repairs. And spend the $30 at autozone to buy the Haynes manual for whatever car you buy... It shows detailed step by step on replacing every part on a vehicle and the books are specific to each generation of each model.

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Off brand smart phones?"

  • 1 point

Do research before buying as some of the off brands have known issues with adware/spyware or other security issues... That said, there are a few really decent ones out there considering the costs... Just don't expect the same level of quality or support as a big brand.

Also, the honor phones from Huawei are actually not cheap phones... That company has come around over the last few years and is making some great hardware now... Honor is its cheaper but feature rich line up... Expect to see a highly custom Android interface though as they don't leave it stock at all...

If you want a solid campaign, the black ops series is where it's at... Play them in order if you can... Ghosts was good too in my opinion...

If you want multi-player, don't buy cod on pc... The servers are packed for a month or 2 after each game comes out, then all the players go back to other games and it gets hard to find games in most play modes...

When you beat a bully, they usually (not always) stop, as do their friends... When you lose to a bully but give it your all and dont relent, they usually stop and either respect you or just dont feel like wasting the effort again. When you give up easily, especially when showing an emotional reaction, then your officially shark bait and can kiss your chance of a bully free life goodbye. If you cant give a hit, learn to take a hit.

Remember also that reporting to teachers should only be done in times of great danger, because it WILL result in the bully coming after you. If you tattle for little things, you make enemies and the teacher cant do much to help you anyway... Save it for the big stuff and dont cry wolf.

Yes, I know this goes against what most of you have been taught your whole lives... But, It is something people who stopped being targets have all learned eventually for a reason.... It works.

  1. It's not as simple as Intel vs amd... Compare specific cpus and uses to figure out what's best at a given task...

  2. Wif is much less stable and consistent than wired, and often slower to some degree... Wired is always the better option unless you need mobility.

  3. If that's a TV, then yes.

  4. If your intent is VR, then I'd skip both the i3 and that ryzen... Aim higher for VR...

For police that "position of office" is dictated by MANY laws... Lots of those laws make it mandatory for an officer to do certain things in certain situations, while many leave alot of room for officer discretion but guide the actions a bit... So as you said, it is generally understood to mean defending the people as needed, since that's typically what the many laws and policies kinda move towards. It can't really be too strict though in the wording though as it often is specifically the job of police to cause harm to a person as needed... Unlike the military, they are authorized by law to use violence against the citizens to enforce law, so you can't blanket them by saying they must always defend or they could never enforce against those unwilling to comply.

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Longshot for Disabled Vet"

I've got a vet buddy with ptsd so bad he can't work... He gets ssi and disability... Your story seems fake. Your posting of a fundraiser for a computer to become a pro gamer and music artist as the first thing you do when joining an online community seems shady.

If you want free money, then consider convincing people of why they should trust you as the work you need to put in for the wage. I don't trust you. I've seen many scams that look just like this one. I'd feel very bad if any of the well meaning kids here fell for a scam and sent money to someone that wasn't even truthful. You can disagree with my sentiment, but you should at least recognize WHY I'm saying these things and if you want that new $5k absurdly expensive computer, then you'll work to convince everyone that your not a scammer with those reasons in mind.

That said, I'm done arguing. I'm just leaving this to the pcpartpicker.com mods or Phillip to decide. It's not my place to do anything more that raise the question.
