Yes it would that is why my build has more cores.

He also left off the water cooler and the total price is higher. The stock coolers are loud under load and barely adequate.

The 2070 Super is plenty of video card. My older 1070 runs my 1440p monitor just fine.

As you can see here the 2070 super is a much better card than mine.

No way to update the BIOS on that board if it don't work out of the box with the new processors unless you have a supported CPU.

On that board anything over 2133 is a overclock setting and not guaranteed to work at advertised speeds and or timings.

For the 2080ti if your video card is bottle necking your PC then replace it if you wish.

MSI makes a MAX version of their B450 boards that come with the updated BIOS .

Bigger case is not easier to work in their about all the same.

The 3TB Drive is a lot lower cost.

I would also not get the X470 board because you could need a BIOS update to work with the processor.

Your also buying LL extra fans when the cooler comes with ML.

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/j28H99/seagate-barracuda-3-tb-35-7200rpm-internal-hard-drive-st3000dm008

I would buy everything but the extra RGB first that way you have a working PC. If you get DOA parts it's easier and quicker to RMA back to the seller then going through the manufacturer.

You sure you would like a huge case in the office?

A 750 buck 16 core 32 thread processor for a gaming PC is a complete waste of money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not a clue why everybody just throws in a 2080ti when the 2080Super is a much better value 60% lower priced and just about 15% off the performance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had 50 bucks to eat lunch on today but went to Subway and got a 5 buck foot long

Under 3K with the monitor and windows on a USB, smaller build with RGB, CPU cooler gets mounted in front , video card cooler in the back, 2 extra fans mounted in the top.

The processor should last 5 to 7 years and the video card will need to be replaced in about 3 they will be much better cards out by then.

500GB M.2 drive for OS and programs along with stuff you can't redirect and a full 2TB SSD for games.

I don't think that 2080ti will be new since it's 1/2 price.

Overlooking the probability of the scam on the card since it's not sold and shipped by Amazon.

The 3800x is not a good buy, overpriced drives and cooler for that processor.

Adds more memory since you said some work and a lower price.

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/GT3fmg

I would probably add at the least a 2TB hard drive.

The 5700 has better performance but 100 bucks more and comes with driver issues still and a bunch of bad cards.

I would get the 1660 or spend a bit more than the 5700 and get the 2060 super.

I would also try to double the SSD space.

Your not going to get 120 unless it's maby CSGO

That case is more made for water cooling.

The max cooler height is 155mm.

You could not waste that much on the motherboard and get a 2X16gb set now.

I always believe in performance first not looks.

Don't know what your thinking on that monitor no video card can push it anywhere near the refresh rate gaming.

Just 16gb of memory is a bit slacking for a work PC.

No the cooler will not even be close to being able to cool that processor.

Don't look at the new game recommendations just keep using what you have their usually wrong.

If your not satisfied then overclock your 6600K to the 4.5/4.6 area if you bought a decent cooler. Should be usable a couple more years.

The cooler you have now will work fine.

The 2070 supper is just behind the regular 2080. The 2080 super is much better and for gaming would be a much better match for the monitor your using.

You still can get the 2080Super for the same price if you just make 2 changes.

The drive change and motherboard change will make 0 difference in the performance or anything else for a gaming PC. The power supply is high quality and now you can get the RGB memory and be able to see it.
