I found that the Acer B227Q is $127 on newegg instead of like almost $150 from B&H
I also found the Acer V227Q for a really great price and i'm thinking of picking it up but the only thing it lacks is height adjustment and usb hub otherwise it's the exact same screen as the Acer B227Q.. the usb hub would be nice though as I only have one USB port... the height adjustment can be fix with new stand so that's no problem... I'm gonna keep looking for different screens but it looks like I might want to stay in that 21.5 size
that is perfect for what I'm looking for! might jump on this
that doesn't look bad! a bit big but I like it
i'd love to stay under $200 if possible but it's OK to go over
ya they both boost above 3.0 GHz one to 3.2GHz the other to 3.4Ghz one is 45w the other is 35w... I'm thinking of going with the 3.2GHz 35w CPU
ok I'm more then likely going to put out the money for the i7-4702MQ but if going with the i7-4700MQ vs i7-4702MQ knowing that 200MHz won't get me any noticeable performance then I may just spring out for the i7-4702QM...
ok that's what I thought... I'm looking at a 3.40 GHz quad core.. don't know if that would make a difference over the 3.60 GHz dual core but they do recommend the i5-3470 which was 4 physical cores for GTA V
that would be a good system! especially the cheaper one... I can always expand in the future... I don't know how the Pentium machine would do transcoding mp2 to mp4 video but hopefully it would do ok... it's going to be half Plex server half random storage.... i'm thinking I may want at least 4-6 3.5" hard drives including the CD drive but I don't think many consumer boards and power supplys would support 8 SATA devices.... my boot drive may have to be like a 64 or 128GB M.2 PCI-E/MVNe or PCI-E/MVNe riser card style if it comes down to not enough ports/lanes...
what do you think? suggestions?
ah.. ok that's fine
I like it and looks like it may support 2 cards
I love this case but it isn't being produced yet http://www.louqe.com/
my budget is trying to stay as low as possible... i'm in usa
I have monitor and mouse and thinking of going with windows 10 pro...
the newer card actually degrades performance in my video editing software when rendering videos as it will go from 15 min with an AMD Radeon 6000 series to anywhere from 2-3 hours with a newer card (my friend on YouTube actually tested this theory out with a a core 2 duo and a core 2 quad both paired with AMD R9 390, intel graphics and a Radeon HD 6950 and found it took the least amount of time to render videos with the 6950 and core 2 quad CPU under Sony movie studio 13....
second gen was for price savings if going with 2 different systems... the video editing machine could take the 2nd gen i7 quad core while the gaming machine could take a 7700K (or simalar CPU) on an evga z97 stinger wifi board (both systems need wifi as well)
I wasn't looking to run on high... medium graphics is also good enough... all I want is to be able to set my resolution higher than 800x600 since that's what my maxed out MacBook can handle minded it only has intel iris graphics.... if I'm going with HDMI I only need 720P for now and when it's time for a new 1080P Screen the graphics card gets upgraded as well and if I'm going with dual link DVI I only need 2560x1440 since that's what my the dell handles although I might switch my dell to this when I get a 1080P screen and run 1080P screen off MacBook's HDMI
windows 10 Pro is needed to connect to my server via domain
windows 10 pro is needed for connecting to my server I have.....
forza wasn't my goal I mostly will run GTA SA, IV, and V..... how about overwatch?
