Great list. It depends. Are you planning on overclocking? If not, then you can save a lot of money by going for an air cooler and putting that money towards the cpu or ram.
Counter Strike I am only getting around one hundred and when I look at gpu usage it is only around 30 to 40%. This goes for all other games except euro truck simulator 2 and playerunknowns battlegrounds
Well I would prefer it as cheap as possible while still being decent and small, but my absolute max is like 450 as I can just upgrade when I have the money and im not going to be using this machine too often. Maybe a bit for couch gaming and when friends come over and when I go over to there house so I want to prioritize my main pc :D Thanks
Thanks for the advice, but I'm focused on making it as cheap as possible with decent specs because I already have a main pc that I'll play on :P Thanks again for the reccomendation of the g4560 I'll edit that into the list
Yes, Ive tried the clean install option in nvidia but i will try ddu
Because (i think) games like pubg favor higher clock speeds rather than more cores, but ill consider that
I would personally go for the intel one rather than the ryzen one because for games like pubg, they favor faster cores more than more cores. It really depends on what games you want to play. Also, I found a gtx 1080 on newegg for the price of the 1070.
Would a k series CPU work with a b series motherboard (since I'm not planning on overclocking)
Ok thanks! Its also cheaper so thats a plus!
Do you think it would have a better sensor than the g403?
Do you think that the 1700 would increase fps in gaming?
When do you think they would go down? :P
Yeah, i was thinking that too, that the vega cards might be better for the miners. I was first leaning to getting a 1050 and then a 1070 after the price drop but then noticed that i'd be paying as much as a 1080 then :P
Wow this is great! I'm curious about the intel optane memory. What does it do?
ok thank you :D
When will the 8'th gen come out? (if the rumors are true). What increase would the 7700 give me? :P
Yeah, I noticed that for 100 hz, I should be fine. Here is my build after the tweaking :P https://pcpartpicker.com/list/DTdcLD would you change anything?
I plan on playing games like dayz, pubg, csgo, and payday 2
Wow! This really helped me out a lot :O Also, would the i5 be good for 100hz, as ive seen some videos about it being for under 70hz
Wow :o, I never knew that greens existed :P Thank you sooo much :O
Slow as in low fps, when it first boots up, the first few minutes the game runs at 60+ but then after a few minutes the fps drops to 20.
About 4 to five years :P
I've just cleaned out the dust a few days ago, and how would you reapply it? Sorry, I dont really know much about laptops.
What are you gonna be using it for? If editing, music creation, ect, then go for ryzen. If gaming then go for intel.
Ok thank you so much! :D
Well, maybe some light editing in hitfilm, and some audacity work, but apart from that, nothing else. Also, would a 7700k be enough for running discord, Razer Synapse, and the logitech software? (Sorry, right now im using an old hp laptop). Or would ryzen be better in terms of multitasking?
For about 400 dollars, (if you dont care about tn) you can get the Dell S2417DG. It has 165 hz and also g - sync. I also agree that you should go 1440p.
Thank you so much! :D
Wow! This is great! Just wondering, what difference does the m.2 have versus the ssd, because after some research, I found out that the only difference is its size and file transfer speed. Also, is a monitors tn display better than a laptops monitors display? (the tn one)
I dont plan on streaming, and the i5 will be enough for gaming at 1440p @ 165hz? Also, if the i5, should I go for unlocked or locked?
Im gonna be using a 165 hz monitor at 1440p with g- sync and my gpu is gonna be a gtx 1070
so, my budget is 2250, and I have about 450 for a good motherboard, cpu, and cpu cooler. (the reason theres an extra one hundred left out is because i'm looking for a good keyboard). Should I overclock? And also, if you would suggest, what motherboard and cpu cooler should be enough?
Im buying it with the monitor, and here is the list: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/TypicalNevin/saved/yhDRBm
I'd try connecting it by a display port, as I think it has support for higher resolutions and higher hz
Wow, how long ago was that? :p
Also, thank you very much, this helped a lot :o
Sorry, here is my list https://pcpartpicker.com/user/TypicalNevin/saved/qndhMp
So if I'm gaming at 165hz, then I should get an i7 7700k?
Wow! Thank you sooo much! This monitor is perfect aswell as the case! Thanks!
Do you think the cpu would last without bottlenecking for about 5 years?
do you think the external gpu dock for the razer blade would work in that case of upgrading?
Im gonna be traveling a lot, so should I go with razer blade since its portable and light?
The thing is, im only gonna be using the laptop for playing games, aswell as the desktop lol, so A chromebook wouldn't really be getting the job done :P
Can you please link the build
Aorry, i didnt know, ill change it
Obs studio is a good free screen recorder, and for editing, i use hitfilm (its also free)
Would the ryzen chip perform similar to the 7700k?
they're both tn, so the viewng angles aren't good, and neither are the colors.
I'd suggest getting an ips panel.
and I've also found a better mobo
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
The NZXT cooler can change colors on the cpu cooler, but not the fans (I think),
Mobo was tricky to find, so I went with one that had some orange in it,
16 Gb ddr4 3000 memory, you could switch to gskill tridentz rgb if you wanted,
gpu has some orange on it, you could go with an asus one that has rgb for 100 more dollars,
black and orange case,
rgb mechanical keyboard,
razer deathadder chroma (rgb)
