Except it can. Performance at any resolution is heavily dependent on what settings you use and at what framerates you aim to achieve. The R9 Fury is about ~10% faster than the RX 580 at full boost. That puts it about on-par with the GTX 980 which is a proven 1440p capable card.
Are you seriously running 2 gigs of ram?
My guess is that one of the monitors is pushed by an Xbox 360.
He tried at least.
I think it's safe to say that this takes a crap on Jay's "Gold Digger" build. This thing crushes it and it doesn't have two RTX Titans.
Actually looks great, love the theme. Few recommendations though;
-Try fitting the 120mm radiator to the back of the case. There are a few reasons for this, but the main one is temps
-Try to route the 24-pin (motherboard) connector behind the cable-management panel to clean things up a bit (http://prntscr.com/minj0j) or even try some cheap cable extensions
-Just for fun, maybe try looking at some EVGA brand ram? ;)
+1 though, upvoted for sure.
This might be the best thing i've ever seen.
Such a great build ridden with "Bottleneck" comments. Great job, I have the same exact GTX 1080.
no, thank you !
Not to mention that it is 750W pushing two 1080tis
Edit: 1080tis don't have an SLI bridge.
Technically the 6800k is "better" but the motherboard (2011-v3) will cost you much more than one for a 6700k (LGA 1151)
No, that is not mounted correctly.
My guess is that he probably already had the 2200g before he had the RX 580. Once again, the 2200g is still a stupid capable chip for less than 100 dollars.
I would also like to note the intense GPU sag and RGB strip that is literally just highlighting the bad cable management.
Read up on the error critical_process_died, seems that you may need bios/driver updates. Other people had the same BSOD when their drivers were corrupted. I also second Samsy, maybe those M.2s should have heatsinks on them. My M.2s operate around 45 during normal use. Maybe the higher capacity on yours are the cause?
Great name, and to be fair this probably will be junk in 2020... You know, Moore's Law?
Just kidding, this should hold up for a long time. Nice work! As a fellow SG13 owner, I give this one a +1
Oh wow, that case is really cool
Wait, how did I miss this? There is no way that i'm actually looking at a 2990wx, VEGA Frontier custom loop! Love the build, and the PCI-E M.2 card. What do you use this for exactly? And how are your temps?
I'm getting pretty tired of explaining this. The 2200g, when overclocked, is as fast as an i5-7500. An i5-7500 can easily support a GTX 1080, in fact many people do pair the two.
You need to realize that not everybody has the ability to customize a machine or afford a 500 dollar custom loop. Anyone can recreate this build, and should provide good inspiration for anyone who likes it.
It's alright dude, just look up some solutions online and go from there
No it's pretty bad dude..
can we get this featured for the sake of memes
You literally ripped this machine from this website. That person probably spent tons of time building that machine just for you to take his credit. Smh..
If I were you I wouldn't really be too worried about your bottleneck. In a couple of months, AMD is projected to release a GTX 1080 performance card for a really affordable price ($250 to $350 hopefully) and you can just upgrade to that. If you can't for whatever reason, then your RX 580 should do justice for a while.
The build looks great, especially for a first one. +1
Can't you still get them on the Nvidia website?
This build is so charming. It is perfectly reminiscent of those old 2012 AMD builds that I used to dream about owning. +1
I've seen this same build while looking at your cable combs. I love this build!! I strive to have a backside as pretty as this ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Oh wow, I didn't notice that the reservoir was mounted on the outside, on the radiator!?? This is so cool, is it something that Phobya does exclusively? Finally, If you like Raijintek you could try building a machine in this case... it would be a cool challenge I would imagine
Always excited for a new upload from Yolenzo
Wondering the same thing, your memory shouldn't be working properly in this configuration
it has a price advantage over the 1060 for the same performance and is cheaper than a 1070 with less performance or slightly less performance when overstocked. Also, AMD ftw!

This, this is beautiful. I'm gonna throw this on my profile as one of my favorite builds. Great job and fingers crossed that this will be featured! +1
You look like the guy from Smashmouth
My CTRL key fell off on my Romer-G keyboard as well, they always do.
Hey, it's me again.
I'm actually about to go X58 and get a second Radeon HD 7770 and do a crossfire machine! I really just found this post again, because I am planning on getting the same motherboard. I appreciate you for fueling my obsession (even if it is somewhat irrational) of these old Xeon machines.
I don't recommend a Hyper 212, instead go for a Noctua DH-15/14 series cooler or a reputable 240mm AIO.
I am in pain
Nice build, but I must ask how the temps are?
The 3930k is still a great chip even in late 2018. My guess is that it comes close to the 2600 even in performance, but most people won't use it because X79 platform motherboards are in no way cheap, even on the used market. The i7-2600k even will perform greatly with a GTX 1080, it simply all comes down to how you configure your system.
Expected to see this question, a few reasons come to my mind at the very least
1) Upgradability, you can upgrade to some of the most powerful chips out there
2) A crap-ton of PCI-E lanes
3) Bragging rights
I can tell you straight away that it is soft. I think if he did it properly, hardline would triple the sex factor of this build.
Holy ****. This is incredible.
I think you bent the NH-D15...
I foresee a feature... Extremely clean build. +1
