Great build, only thing I would say about the build is that you could have just bought the 1600, but for what you do it looks like a reasonable investment. Ignore the people saying that it is overpriced because while it is, the build is great and will serve you great in the future. To note in the future, the MSI Carbon Pro mobo is literally a carbon (pun intended) copy of the B350 PCMATE, you may have wanted the aesthetics but is is not that noticeable anyway. Spending your money on a more reputable PSU may help really far down the line but the PSU you chose is still really good. Great job on your first build

If I'm not mistaken a lot of it is people jumping on the cryptocurrency trend. Issue being is that there are literally islands with massive machines and places in China that are dedicated to solely mine and so it has become near impossible to mine. People trying to mine now are somewhat insane, but at least they are trying.

Do people even research how difficult it is to mine nowadays, you would think people would stop since it is so unprofitable.

TBH, I am completely fine with you purchasing that GTX 1060, you managed to get a phenomenal price for it and so it fits perfectly in the build. Sure the CPU may be a little weak for the GPU, but pretty sure he is happy with it and that is the main thing. Some recommendations though. - Dual channel RAM, at the time the Ballistix Sport LT RAM (2 x 4GB) was actually cheaper - Ryzen, maybe instead of purchasing the pentium, purchasing something with a much better upgrade path would work a lot better for example (Ryzen 3 1200 and a B350M PRO-VD = $166). While it may cost a bit more it may be worth it in the long run. Perfect build for someone hunting for deals and I really do wish I purchased that 1060. :)

Just a question, but wouldn't it be possible to just view the picture in full screen on that specific screen. It wouldn't have that annoying taskbar that is rn bugging me sooo much.

If you are going with the mobo and ram I would say it is very good. However since you are only getting one gpu a b350 would work just fine, however the X370 is definitely a great chipset.

I think this may be easier on your wallet and perform almost the same. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/dvGzzM

As long as you aren't planning on going sli

Did you really need the m.2? you could have settled with the 850 evo and a 1tb hdd and gotten an even better gpu or did you buy both on sale?

Really nice build but one question, why didn't you get a z270 mobo when there are a few around that price point, it would really benefit the 7600k

I know this is a controversial topic, but it would be better that you keep the side panel on as keeping it open disrupts the airflow and may actually be heating up your components. Just my 2 cents but hell, if it works for you then it works.
