Thanks for the recommendation. I think $1000 won't cover what I'd like, and I decided I don't "need" a laptop until college, so I may wait another year and save up for a xps13/15 or msi prestige. Thank you regardless
How about this? https://www.costco.com/lenovo-flex-14-2-in-1-touchscreen-laptop%2c-10th-gen-intel-core-i7-10510u%2c-geforce-mx230%2c-1080p.product.100517151.html
Gotcha. Would you recommend a 2in1 even if I don’t need one? From what I know, 2in1s sacrifice performance
Here's just what's in my steam library
Assetto Corsa - 337 hours
F1 2017 - 105 hours
Euro Truck Sim - 23 hours
Rocket League - 20 hours
Dirt 3 - 19 hours
And not in my steam library
FH3 - 134 hours
As you can see, I love my racing games :P
The headphones were awesome. 11/10 would recommend. However yesterday the right earcup started to detach. They're pretty unusable now. I hope I can get them fixed
ye I gotchu
I have a Cryorig C7...also maybe a motherboard but that would eat up like $70 of your budget...it's a Z170N-Wifi. Let me know. Also have a RVZ01
hasn't been active here for a few months
Nice, that's a good wheel
Yeah I did. Unfortunately I missed the V3s which I’m super upset about haha
Nice man. Yeah I'm really likely the CSW V2.5 and the CSP V3. Might be my next upgrade
Awesome man! Love the fanatec set you've got going. I've currently got a t300 alcantara myself and I'm eyeing down those Clubsport V3 pedals. How do you like it?
How do you like your setup/space? If you could, what would you change?
I have had both, and I currently have the T300 Alcantara, and I had the TX Leather previously. The TX/T300 (they're very similar, TX for X1, and T300 for PS3/PS4) is miles better than the G920. It's in a different world. The T300 Alcantara can be found here and the TX Leather here. They can currently both be found for $300 with no tax outside of NY/NJ. I would strongly recommend either of these two over the G920. I would consider the T300 over the TX, due to the better rim (bigger, better material imo, better looks imo, etc) but I strongly suggest gloves of any kind with the T300, to preserve the nice look of the rim.
Hope this helps!
Yeah, the new gray label CXMs are great
Apologies, what I mean to say was that efficiency doesn't make a psu any better quality. There are some great quality PSUs that aren't Gold or Platinum
80+ certification doesn't mean everything. There are great Bronze psus and subpar Gold rated psus
Hey, great question! This is actually pretty relevant to me right now lol. I did basically a full overhaul of my build, but I still need a case. And the one I bought comes in January :/. What I do is just try to keep your mind off it and just focus on your games lol
I'd look used
Try to get a 2500k prebuilt for like $150 and add a 1060 3gb
Definitely a good problem to have lol
which game shall I play this weekend?
Yeah, I know what you mean. I’ve been looking to buy FM7 but with me loving F1 I have no time to put into any other game :/
Totally depends on the games you play
I wouldn't say that 21hz is a big difference. If you're not super pro, you won't notice it. Plus both monitors have G-Sync so everything should be buttery smooth
Definitely a cool game. Check it out man :P
Other than size, the 24” runs at 21hz more at 165hz instead of 144hz
Going to throw something out there, it's a lot more of a simulator. But I've been enjoying it a ton and hasn't got boring yet. The game is F1 2017. Take a look at it :P
If you can budget an extra $30
You never know. It's always nice to have the option
I mean, if you can get a Z170 board pretty cheap, it’s a good option as it lets you upgrade and overclock a K ski cpu
there was nothing I could do
there was nothing I could do
Thanks! Definitely was fun :)
Perhaps that might be something to look into, but I don't think we have the pc anymore
Yeah, i3 should be plenty for basic needs. Plus he has a Z170 to allow him to upgrade in the future to K-sku CPUs if he needs extra performance.
RYZEN MASTER SEES ALL
so true lol
+12gb of ram
+12gb of ram
you can't even see them...
yeah, that's definitely more likely
