I like summer storms, just heavy rainfall and a decent bit of wind. It's nice to be outside at those times. Very refreshing. Makes me want to put on a sad playlist and cry. Also very refreshing.

I, still very allergic to cocoa, am glad that I cannot impulse buy chocolate anymore because I am too broke. It's a good day for my skin and digestive tract.

Well, there's 2 options.

  • Dead
  • Alive! The world hasn't been destroyed, nor has my soul. Hopefully I'm a Pokémon trainer, or a researcher of psychology, whichever is most realistic. I imagine chocolate isn't around anymore, but I hope it is.

Here's some of my observations:

  • Denying climate change whilst a whole lot of scientists keep proving it to be influenced by the industry and other human activities.
  • The whole 'wind turbines cause cancer' fiasco, he's against wind energy in general, for some reason.
  • Banning transgender people from the military, stating one reason that they 'need to be on a bunch of expensive drugs', but admitting in the same interview he did not know that the military spent 10x more on Viagra than on HRT. (The other reason was that they'd be out for a couple years if they get some surgery done, but even if that was a big issue, there should be a rule in place that that comes after you've served, no? The ban altogether seems a bit odd to me.)
  • Shutting down the government for a wall after not getting what he wants. He still did not get what he wants.
  • He failed to complete one of his biggest campaign promises; reforming/scrapping Obamacare. There have not been any decent plans rolling out.
  • Thinking that Mexico was ever going to pay for the wall.
  • Taking credit for job growth and economic growth. Obama's last two years in office saw the same level, if not more, growth in jobs.

Don't read too much into what my politics are. I think that if you'd look at these things, regardless of what side you're on, you'd think 'huh, that doesn't sound right.'

I already tried it at this point. It runs, and not at just 3FPS. It's actually playable. The occasional lag spike, but it's okay.

Saw a video of a GT 710 beating it by a few FPS in GTA V, CS:GO and Rocket League, so yeah, pretty trashy, I guess.

I'm still gonna risk it by trying to play SCUM which lists a GTX 960 2GB as the minimum requirement. Wish me luck.

Edit: turns out this laptop has a GeForce 840M. This is great. Still doesn't cut it but I have 5% more hope now.

I mean, the problem is probably that I can’t enjoy much because I naturally lack that good serotonin, but I used to be fixated on some things. It worsens or you just lose interest. I’ve been in a constant state of boredom since that happened and I’m just trying to pick up something new.

Haven’t found good games (always been picky) + I enjoy everything less anyway now, and textile will still be expensive. Thanks for the thought though.

Edit: forgot to say what I like to do for fun. I can sometimes still enjoy gaming, for the rest I get my joy from being with friends and from social media. I also like making music, got decent at singing, but I am so insecure about that, it’s not even funny.

Tomorrow will be equally boring if I don’t do something interesting. TV in the Netherlands especially has gone waaaay downhill in the past 7 years.

I'll try if I got nothing else. I bet that if I find a class for once or twice a week that I'll still complain about being bored around that time. I cannot sit still and do nothing, which gets annoying when nothing's all I got to do.

Don’t know if you’re familiar with coding, but making your own game could be something. You can start and stop at any time you want, learn some more tech related stuff and make yourself a game you might enjoy. If you’re not that good at drawing, there’s free sprites all around the internet and 64px sprites aren’t that hard to modify if those don’t suit your needs.

I’m not going to change my personality for pcpp

Since when did pc part picking have anything to do with personalities

Woah thers, lad.. you don’t have to change, you may just be seen as rude sometimes. It be like that. But really, you’re freaking out over comment karma.. if you’re nice and have good builds you get more. If you’re rude and you don’t have the best builds it’s less likely. You come off jumpy, arrogant and a bit rude, people just do not like that. They downvote that. It’s just a downvote, man..

Case fans should not be an afterthought. Cases matter.

Dual monitors do not even require a videocard most of the time (in my experience).

That’s picking a higher end 8 and a lower end 16. Those $20 could go towards not frying your PC.. you can always add 8 gigs too.

Non K intel CPUs are great budget choices, sometimes. Intel has an advantage being single core performance. They do it well.

I don't really know you and I haven't seen any of your lists, but from what I can tell, you seem a little bit arrogant despite people telling you the flaws in some of your parts lists. I advise you to do a little bit more research on balance, and to be a little less arrogant. You'll gain that comment karma back in no time.. Maybe throw some humor in the mix, it's like sugar, very important.

Edit: I've seen you put a GT 1030 in a build now.. that's a bit odd..

Edit 2:

yes cooling matters but it's not life or death for a system, it shouldn't take priority in a build where you have to downgrade a 2080 ti to a 2080 just for some fans.

That 2080Ti of yours could DIE because of the heat. Just straight up gone. It’s best to keep it cooled.

so the only way to get air into a case is by fans? There's air everywhere. as long as there are air holes in the case it'll be fine. That is your opinion because not every case is the same, and like I've said previously you shouldn't downgrade your build for some fans.

So the only way to cool down in summer is by fans? There’s air everywhere. As long as there’s a window open in the room you’ll be fine.

no. non k series intel cpus are just not worth it. You could wait for the 9700KF that's going to be cheaper due to the lack of an iGPU. But you might have to wait a month or 2.

What? Non k series intel cpus aren’t worth it? They’re pretty great and also recommended by lots of experts depending on the budgets and needs of people.

Notes: you also seem to prioritize having 16GB of ram, it really isn’t necessary in most cases. ESPECIALLY if the budget is like, 550..

Your case choices are typically a bit peculiar and cheap.

A thing that I also do, but that’s only for myself and because I’m stubborn, is pick a high capacity SSD when you really don’t need it. In fact, a 1TB hard drive and a smaller, fairly cheap SSD for the OS and important programs is plenty. This can actually leave room for that cooling AND your 2080Ti! :D
