They are expensive i think it was 80 bucks for the pack but yeah. they are not extensions
sorry for the late reply.
excellent job on the sleeving - would love some tips
i'm embarrassed to say . . . ikea
new pics of the update are coming soon. NZXT owes me a few fans!
I may not be the best person to ask, Windows is kinda second nature to me. I was a longtime windows user and sys admin. I switch between linux, windows and macOS depending on the day. Windows is pretty easy, after a week it will be second nature for you.
I switched to macOS for stability reasons I was and still am big into photography. When it was time to purchase photoshop/lightroom I just went with the mac flavor. Now with creative cloud I can bounce back and forth.
Thanks for the kudos!
I used the dual intelligent processors 5 with fan expert4. the computer is almost silent. I created a custom fan curve for gaming so that I don't go above 78C.
On a side note, I've since sold this and I am running new build. i7 6800k, 32GB of ram, ASUS X99-AII. The new build has been running for about a month I'm just waiting on some fans for the final pictures.
Agreed - I was able to get 4.7 on a Z170-pro using the one button overclock in DIP5. Voltage is sitting around 1.23v
Kudos on this build and your mission!
Are you actually running that ram at 3200?
love it! this is so clean.
elite case in white . . . good show!
i love it!
hope you get a feature
Why is it overkill?
looks familiar :) great build!
Wireless an bluetooth work like a charm. I choose this at the recommendation of the rep at microcenter. Since it's an intel card the drivers are rock solid - they were found by windows so I didn't have to download anything.
omg! nice match at bestbuy.
nice build. i've notice at certain angles, it's like the glass isn't t here
i think it's the 74". i'm going to be switching over to a karlby countertop soon
vagabond is correct.
I'll probably catch crap for this statement but if you are just gaming i would go with either the i3 6100 or the i5 6600k
nice build, very well done!
Powerful little box you got there!
I think it's the linmonn. I may upgrade to something a little more solid if I ever pick up a second display.
I literally just swapped that out last night. I had to move the 650 to the manta build and found a super discount on the 750P2. Being that they are fully modular it was a breeze to swap out. I'll probably update the pictures next week.
Sooooo I did the mod with a 970FE. It looks kinda meh
In order for this mod to work you really need to repaint it. I'm going to try and hit the logo with some acetone and then white paint. My wife recommended using nail polish so I might give that a go before I do it to my 1070FE.
Actually the monitor is not overkill. And that's relative that what each person uses their gear for. You may value storage over a quality monitor but I don't. I was no longer able to use my Apple thunderbolt display which was a 2560 x 1440 Resolution IPS monitor with 12ms response time. Since I had to pick up a new monitor with the switch I wanted something comparable or better. And if you compare specs the ROG swift is pretty similar but better in a few of the specs. Since I'm back into gaming; something that had a high refresh rate. So I'm happy.
On to your storage comment - I have a 500GB Samsung SDD attached temporarily on the PSU shroud. I'm debating whether or not to replace that. I have 10TB attached via Thunderbolt. I already had these drives prior to the build. In fact that was the main reason why I built this machine . . . Those drives cost more then the what I've paid in parts this year. :)
thanks the case took a while to get here :/ but worth it.
Those are the phillips Hue which i control from my smart phone
I saw ed's video a while back. I've been debating whether or not to do it.
check your inbox :)
Razer Blackwidow Chroma Keyboard and the Razer Mamba TE Mouse. The sound bar is the Razer Leviathan
I actually don't know, I was just looking for abstract HD wallpapers this thing just stuck out to me.
It's actually the limmonn and ikea alex drawers. I'm going to take a few new pictures of the inside drawers because i've added a shelf on the right and organized the drawers. The rode studio mic arm clamped without a problem, the weight is distributed nicely and it doesn't pull on the desk.
I'm glad brought this up though - i'm seriously thinking of mounting it in the desk. I plan on drilling a hole for a grommet for the keyboard and mouse cords so i figured that would be a good time to use the include desk mount option for the studio mic arm.
thanks for the kudos!
I copied the link from amazon and put the link in the field. It picked it right up. I tried to do it for the website but that didn't work.
Yeah that's the problem, the fans have to be at like 90% for me to get down to that temp.
It's out. It just took weeks to ship
fixed it :)
Thanks but I think i need to work on the cable management a bit before that happens. I was super excited to get it up an running and didn't spend much time on it.
Check out my build. Only thing you would need to do is swap out the white ram for black ram.
I actually went ahead and picked up the hue+ and experimented a little bit. I ended up with just a solo led strip under the graphics card. I'll put up pictures in the next few days.
