Yeah, I did look at those cases but ended up choosing the Node 304 because I still think it is one of the best looking mini-itx cases out there. Plus I needed to carry over 2x 3.5 HDD over from a previous build for my media which i don't think the SG08 allows and I really don't like the look of the Core 500.

I'm a big fan of Silverstone cases and I did a build using the Raven RV01 but had issues with temps getting slightly hot and cable management was also a real pain so ended up switching to the Node 304...

I purchased most of the components brand new although some of them were discounted but I do remember paying around £110 for the i7 2600k back in 2015 and £150 for the GTX 970 Strix brand new.

Of the top of my head, I remember paying for the following:

Crucial Mx300 525GB SSD: £80 HyperX Alpha headset: £60 Silverstone 500W Gold PSU: £65 HyperX Fury DDR3-1866 ram: £51
