And the LG monitor.. saw some not too great reviews on it. The one I had before seemed to have better reviews.
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Lxb2NN Ok... finally done I think... xD I changed the SSD and HDD
huh. ok lel
Also here's my finished build with all the other stuff (including monitor, mic, headset, elgato). https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Coolpick/saved/2gDVnQ
Thanks :) Also, why the different SSD?
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zjjHD8 I Put this together.
alright sorry xD
I edited that :P Also any compatible with the ryzen CPU (am4) I put it in the filters but the results didn't change..
I'm putting together a work computer for someone else, with a ryzen 5 1500x, any pretty cheap cooler that would be sufficient for this? They aren't planning on overclocking, though it might be a possibility. Maybe, probably not.
I am quite new to building PCs, this is one of the first I've made I think. I'll probably just stick with the Scythe Mugen 5, and judging by how you describe it and some reviews I saw, it should work great for what I'm doing. Also, most likely going to try to overclock, don't know much about it, but once I decide to try it out I know there's tons of tutorials online.
I guess I'll stick with the Scythe Mugen 5 for now.
hm. Any other liquid CPU cooler that actually has good reviews? ;P I might just stick with the scythe. Just wanted to see if there was something that performed similar but looked better lol.
I'm thinking about using the NZXT Kraken x62 CPU cooler. I'm pretty sure it would perform fine for my build, (I know about the mounting bracket thing) but any thoughts or anything before I decide to go with it instead? It does look quite a bit better too xD
Also, how did you get your AM4 bracket thing from NZXT for the kraken x62, because it's not compatible with the ryzen series. Did you order yours from ebay or something, or did they actually get to you and send you the bracket? I've heard lots of complaints about not getting their bracket or a response from NZXT.
Looks great! I would've went with the Ryzen 7 1700, because it's cheaper and has about the same performance, but whatever fits you. Actually, kind of weird, (I did consider the NZXT x62) but we have very similar PCs. I'm gonna build mine sometime soon. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nKnHD8
Not the prettiest build, but it'll probably get the job done pretty well, GJ :) Also, you can check some youtube videos on cable management for your pc.
ooooooooooh pretty :D
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nKnHD8 Alright I'll do that xD
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/326sCy Here's what I made :P
Have any recommended motherboards for a Ryzen 7 build?
Since I'm planning on getting a 1440p and 144hz monitor, not too much super ultra gaming, should I go with the ryzen 7? I'm thinking about it, because it has around the same gaming experience while being very good with rendering and such, and I plan on making YouTube videos.
Awesome build, but the cable management...
Don't get me wrong though it's a great lookin' build xD
Alright cool :)
Great looking setup dude.. GJ!
Nice build :D Though I know you said the pictures aren't great.. but try to like set them up on a stand or something.. make them not so blurry. Also if you're using an iPhone 7 then you can use the portrait setting in the camera
Someone pointed out that the Crucial MX300 275GB 2.5" Solid State Drive is a better value than the ADATA SU800 SSD. Is that right, or opinionated? Which would be better.
Exactly. haha I'm planning on doing 1440p (possibly 4k) gaming, record/streaming with an elgato hd60 pro, and maybe some cinematics. Not total overkill, but a tad bit overkill that's true xD I do like good performance, and right now I'm using a $550 Cyberpowerpc prebuilt so... major upgrade xD
Also, here's a PC that I'm putting together for myself :) (I'm using a different graphics card, I just can't find the one I'm going to buy on here.) https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JCqjCy
Looks great! Thanks.
Here's my PC now. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Coolpick/saved/dGvFTW
I did that :P
"The CRYORIG H7 49.0 CFM CPU Cooler may require a separately available mounting adapter to fit the ASRock AB350M Pro4 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard."
The one you sent me was micro atx, and I searched without the pro4 and the other results weren't compatible.
Yeah it does. I saw reviews that it was super hot and stuff, so rip.
Nevermind. Everyone who wrote a review said it's super hot and has no backplate and stuff :P
Also, I found this one just now. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125955&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Video+Card+-+Nvidia-_-N82E16814125955&gclid=CjwKEAjwoLfHBRD_jLW93remyAQSJABIygGpQj4a87d3gh8uj0YmtJ3sa_QALa2Jr8yl_HwqwkSZqBoCRlTw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds Is that good? That seems too good.
Already found one. http://www.microcenter.com/product/478276/GeForce_GTX_1080_Ti_STRIX_ROG_Overclocked_11GB_GDDR5X_GAMING_Video_Card Store pickup tho
Alright. Thank you!
Also, is watercooling a good option, or should I stick with fans? I've seen tons of videos, and I've decided so far to stick with air/fan type cooling, but I think watercooling looks much better... Would it be a waste/a pain to do?
Nah lel. I'd rather just pick it up myself, but thanks for the help dude :)
I think I can pick it up. Unless you mean pick it up for me for free ;) but probably not xD I'll pick it up when I'm making the pc lol
