Airflow and Space
i have the define S and had no issues with installation
I haven't been on in awhile but yes they spin together when it reaches 60c. No issues with it at all. I however leave them spinning at 25% as i don't like them being off.
I have the Define S and and airflow is fine as there are vents on the side
I bought the usb version
Well the graphics card and cooler lights up. Along with the keyboard and mouse
Look i wanted a 1070 to begin with but microcenter didn't have the monitor i wanted in stock and i wasn't going to pay over 500 for one which is why i settled for the 480 in the first place. I also had bought the fractal case a year ago so no reason for a difference case. I also wanted 1 large storage device as i see no reason to have 2. It is a waste imo Also on the subject of the mobo, my previous mobo was the Sabertooth Z77 and i decided to stick with the Sabertooth series. Also the evga g2 series are the best which is why chose the 750 g2 one.
Now i am happy with my system and it does what it is suppose to do.
Everything in my system has good components. Now i am sorry that you think they aren't but its my money not yours. I could have gone the cheaper route with a cheaper mobo, a cheaper psu, a cooler, cpu and a cheaper storage drive but i didn't want that. I got what i wanted. Now on that note, i will end this conversation here as i will not argue with someone.
I'm sorry but I don't need your help though. Considering i spent like $1,479 on parts which consists of an i7 i think i did pretty good. Sorry that you think it was money wasted but i disagree.
Minus the monitor, ups, keyboard and dvd drive. The receipt shows i spent $1,479.92 on the parts including the OS.
I looked at the receipt i got the i7 for $299. I'm not all that worried about the lower sale price they got going on. Besides i paid in cash so don't think i would be able to get a refund anyway. I also don't want to ride all the way back to St. Louis just to get a refund either....lol
Yes. It was $2,230 or somewhere around there. I will have to look at the total later.
Lol yep Harry Potter Fan
I forgot how much i got the i7 for, i will have to look at the receipt
I ended up figuring it out. I didn't plug the other cable that goes into the SSD in.
My fiance and i drove 4 hrs to go to Microcenter to get the parts that i wanted for my pc build. I got the i7 also
When you updated the bios did it show the boot drive? I can get into the bios but it doesn't show a boot drive.
what bios did you update to?
If you read the description you would know it was the msi gtx 660ti 3gb ...lol
Question on the motherboard did you have to update the bios?
Like the others said it will fit, doesn't matter the slot size as they are all the same (i think)
Kids will hear and see things no matter what. You can't prevent it.
But they built it in 2016 so...lol
As long as they are the same speed and timings its fine
Meh I am use to playing on a TN panel and the colors on my current monitor i think are really good. So it most likely won't bother me that it isn't IPS
How you like that monitor?
those are probably amd strix cards as they are known to have heating issues
How are you liking the monitor?
what desk is that
How is the monitor?
he has the 3700k though
He could but wouldn't be able to overclock it as it isn't a Z board
"So originally I was going to save up & build a new skylake system as the second PC. Best laid plans & all that. I'm not sure how it happened but while searching for a i7 to put into my other build (PC1) I stumbled on to the GTX 770's & decided to build another Ivy Bridge system with the 770's SLI"
Probably more than likely but who knows with Microsoft
Probably going to be waiting a long time as Microsoft said that Windows 10 is the last OS
I think next weekend my fiance and i are going to the Microcenter in St. Louis/Brentwood which is about 4 hrs from where we live.
I have one myself and it is worth the money
I guess i must have been thinking of something else. my bad
Currently using Microsoft Security Essentials and have for years. Although when i get my new pc built i plan to either use BitDefender, Eset or maybe paid version of Avast
How is the free version of BitDefender?
Malwarebytes isn't considered an antivirus though
I wasn't even the one who downvoted you.....and i was referring you asking people not to dislike your comment. Which they can do if they want to.
Was not even talking about the hard drives though
While it wasn't me, people can do as they please
That's a backplate and I think it comes with it. Could be wrong though
Never know his son could have one at 14
it's on a wooden floor not carpet
not everyone wants to have an ssd...
