Decided to try new G3 series from EVGA and wasn't disappointed. Very quiet and well made piece of machinery.

Perfect PSU for my needs and was astonished when opening the box that it comes with cases and such. Really looks good when you first open it up.

An even more efficient beast than the G2 but in a smaller form factor, especially for cases with psu basements like my p400s. Extremely quiet also.

As a 24/7 server I wanted something efficient and at least Gold+. Heard excellent things about the G2 so when I saw the G3 had just been released in a smaller and more efficient package I was very keen to get one. It is only 15cm x 15cm - (For reference - the 550W G2 model is larger 15cmx16.5cms and the Fractal Core 500 case recommends < 16cm modular PSU if you want to use a full size GPU).

550W more than enough for this build but it is nice to have the headroom. Modular plugs are great and it is very quiet, probably because the PSU comes with a nice ECO mode button that keeps the fan off if temp < 45oc

Very appealing price for a gold rated unit. Not much of a power supply expert so can't comment on it. But it came with a solo 6+2 pin without the weird loop like a lot of mid range units do so I was happy about that.

really nice power supply. Fully modular, and all of the cables are mesh wrapped, for a nice clean look. Fan is pretty much silent, and it gets the job done. I bought this as it was noted to be a very stable supply, and it did not disappoint! Comes with a bag for the cables you don't use.

I have always been a fan of EVGA SUpernova PSUs and the new G3 series does not disappoint. They are slightly smaller than the G2 series which helps in smaller cases and for cable management overall

Very well made. It is noiseless under load. The carrying case and nice packaging cracked me up. It was a nice touch, but very much useless....no one packs up and carries around their PSU.

The cables were great quality and easily bended to my liking.
