Good motherboard for the price when you're looking for something cheap that supports Skylake, but probably won't cause any bottlenecks. BIOS worked out of the box, the setup menu was pretty easy to figure out, the installation manual included was very thorough and helpful.
Comes with surge protection, which is great, albeit it's a bit overeager, as nudging the tower maybe half an inch immediately triggers it. Maybe that's more to do with the power supply, though. We'll see.
I wasn't expecting a mobo this good for under 100$. It has 4 ram slots, so later I will upgrade to 16gb ram. It has all good stuff. It has lots of USB ports, a pulsing internet light, a place to plug in a beeper (beeps on startup), and with Asus, they are a great reliable motherboard company, though for some of the better ones, a little overpriced. The Bios is very graphical, to me it's not a good thing, but to others maybe.
Computers are much cheaper than they were, and this is proof.
Really great motherboard, RAM and GPU are easy to install as well as the CPU and fan, has all the appropriate ports, and has a cool orange LED light that is in the bottom left. However, the little plate that goes in front of the ports (in my experience) was just a pain in the butt to get in but we got it eventually, you might want a friend to help you because a third hand can make it easier. Also no wifi chip, not a huge deal, but just be aware that you may have to buy one or use ethernet.
