Got it Refurbished from Corsair for $90 Keeps my cpu nice and cool but takes up alot of space in the s340 elite.
Insanely quiet AIO. Paired with two be quiet! Silent Wings 3 140mm fans, it is inaudible at full load and beats large air coolers (e.g. the Dark Rock Pro 3) in noise:performance ratio.
This thing is worth every penny. 40/65c temps at idle and under load respectively on a 1700x clocked at 4.0ghz. I didn't even use a super high-end thermal compound either, just run of the mill artic silver for $6. I'm tempted to put something a little better on and see if I can climb over 4.2ghz stable.
Silent, powerful and damn sexy
Complaints: The fan cables that extend out of the main cooling cover for the CPU make cable routing a bit tricky. The fan connector is also NOT long enough to stretch to the Phanteks fan controller, so I just routed it out and back in and removed the controller altogether. Shame.
The radiator is surprisingly wide for its size and intended purpose. I added it to the intake portion of the case to ensure if was receiving the coldest air possible and not soaking in the heat generated from the case. I wish I could move it up another inch or so in the case so the cables don't rest on the GPU. However, my case doesn't seem to have the rails go up far enough.
Cooling seems very strong. I'm not a big fan of overclocking and risking the hardware just to pump up a number. Thus, it's more than enough for me. I don't really get above 50 C on Prime95 and the system is very quiet. I replaced the loud Corsair fans with the Phanteks fans that came with my case. Temps seem the same.
As for the RGB, I really like the settings and adjustments. My favorite setting allows the RGB to change with the color of the CPU. This is ultra cool (or hot?).
Good AIO for the money. Nothing fancy. Little room for customization with rgb and colored logo plates.
Awesome. Nice and quiet, performs well, easy to mount, ML fans are near silent and move a heck of a lot of air.. Only complaint is that there's a lot of cables coming off the block.
Sexy, but haven't figured out how to just turn OFF the LED
Keeps my 8700K nice and cool that's overclocked to 4.7GHz on all cores. Love that you can customize the light effect and also love the fact that they come with ML Fans. Silent and cool.
I want to give this cooler 5 stars, but the only thing keeping me from that is their software is really buggy with this cooler. In Link, it doesn't even show up whether it is plugged into the motherboard or the Commander Pro. I was able to get it to show up in iCue, but I'm just not a fan of that currently. It did show up in Link once and that was only after I installed iCue. I haven't been able to control the lighting or the pump speed at all though which is a disappointment. On the actual cooler side of things, it works great! I don't see temps above 65 even while overclocking. I did replace the stock ML fans that it comes with with the RGB MLs that I already had though so I can't really speak to those. It really is a great cooler though and if they can fix the software implementation, I would easily give this 5 stars.
