Choosing a mouse was tough, but I made an exception to my color scheme for the Logitech G502 Proteus Core, which in my opinion is the best mouse on the market. Great button placement, insane DPI settings, and I love that logitech carried over their hyper-fast scrolling from their M and MX series mice to this gaming mouse. Great for working on my databases and other work stuff. If they made an RGB iteration of the G502, it would be the perfect mouse.

Love the mouse, only issue is that because I have clammy hands, i have dried sweat on the sides (thumb and pinky-ish sides/areas) which doesn't want to clean and won't clean well

Best mouse on the market. That's all that really has to be said. Not a huge fan of the scroll wheel, but oh well!

Amazing mouse, I was worried about going with an optical sensor over a laser, but my doubts turned out to be completely unfounded with this mouse.

Probably the best mouse for gaming that I have ever used. I wanted a mouse that had a few extra buttons on it. I tried the Razer Naga mouse, but the buttons were too small for my large hands and the mouse had no weight to it at all, which made it very difficult to use.
This logitech mouse has plenty of buttons that are large and easy to use. It also has adjustable weigh and the tracking is great. Logitech really improved their software too, which makes creating macros a breeze.

Being into Macs I never had a need for a gamin mouse but when I went looking for something more Windows friendly than a Magic Mouse this came up in many a good review.
Feels great in the hand, though perhaps a touch heavy for day to day use. Braided cable feels great. Software is alright although odd to pick pointer speed via DPI settings.
