Loud but for the price I can't complain too much. The customer likes to still burn CDs and watch movies.

from completed build "FINALLY!" - My First Build (RETIRED)
Does what it should do, however it sounds like it's ready to be cleared for departure from the airport when reading and writing to discs.

I've only used this for installing windows and a few drivers so far, and have had no problems. Haven't tried to burn anything yet. I like the way the eject button feels when pressed, very satisfying for some reason.
This probably the noisiest part of my whole build when it is in use, but doesn't strike me as excessively loud or even louder than average.
The photo on Amazon was showing a white logo and text on the front of the drive, but the one I received has a black/unpainted logo and text. I was pleased by this because aesthetics.

from completed build First time gaming build
Doesn't serve much purpose, but for 20$ it was worth it for my driver and windows
