A good H97 Board.

So, I need a really good h97 motherboard that can last a long time, or at least 3 years. I'm debating between the Asus H97- Plus, and the Gigabyte GA-H97-D3H. I've been told that they are both great boards, but I want some other opinions. I'm not worried about the board looking ugly (I'm looking at you Gigabyte...) because it's going to be a home computer. If anyone can recommend a better h97 board please let me know.

This is my build so far: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Mq7Rt6

Hmm. I'll have to look into that. Thanks!

EDIT: I was looking at some more boards and I saw that some Z87 Boards are are cheaper than most H97 boards should I go with one of the Z87's?

you're getting a locked i5 so I would go for the newer H97. Even the T4 cooler is not really needed as the stock cooler would be ok. The advantage is that your i5 will run some degrees cooler which helps.

I'm mainly getting the T4 just for a little a little bit more silence.

I understand, even if it where for lowering temps!! I had the prolimatech Samuel 17 on my non-K i5-4690 and because temps are so hot here it would idle at around 39-44c, Im in the process of changing cases so I bought the noctua NH-D9l and my idle temps drop to 32-37c which honestly makes me real happy!!
