for gaming right now? 1440p. for graphical work (and if the budget allows) gaming on 4k

What PC are you running it on? If it doesn't have at least a 980Ti then 1440p the 980 wont run 4k that well on High or Ultra for the AAA titles (60fps is what Im classing as minimum)

4K much better in image quality than 1440p and good with gaming performance.
