I have Norton 360 premiere edition, and when I go on Google and type in "MSI", their website shows up first. However, Norton is telling me there are 5 computer threats!!! Can anyone confirm that their website has viruses? This has totally changed my opinion about MSI products, now I have been avoiding them.

Get rid of norton, it's the most awful thing ever. AVG is free and works much much better.

You may even want to just ditch norton when your subscription expires.

Norton is one of the worst software protection I have ever used. It uses a lot of memory and does not even work.

I have a MSI laptop. One of the best PC companies out there. Where as Norton is known to have "problems".

Which one? I have the msi gs70 stealth pro and love it. Their new gt72 q2e also looks amazing. Probably would have gotten that if it were out 3 months ago when i was shopping.

I don't know much about the gp line but I seems to be a more cost efficient line similar to companies like hp, acer, dell, etc. Removing the bottom cover to access the inside doesn't void MSI warranty even though they say it does. I've researched that a lot. Windows is **** anyways so can't unbiasly say if it was windows fault or MSI for the bad instal. Loud fans and temps are something MSI needs to work in. Again sounds like the gp series may be a more "streamline" version.

Yeah, I thought it was fishy. I'm beginning to wonder if Norton is even worth it anymore. I've had a couple viruses get past it recently. It's also an extreme memory hog!!! When running a full scan on a computer with 4GB of RAM, I literally can't do anything else, the computer just becomes so slow.
