So, i currently have been using a standard 1440p/60 ips display ( BenQ GW2765) Basically a standard ips @ 1440p/60hz and just bought my first "$$gaming monitor", (Gigabyte Aorus F1-27Q) my question is not on the HDR cause i could care leSS... MY question is on the "Display Port Cable". @ 1440p 165 hz, my question is... DO I NEED A SPECIFIC DISPLAY CABLE to get the most out of this monitor?

Thank you, it arrives Wed.

As long as you run DisplayPort, you should be OK.

Cable brand shouldn’t matter, though.
