I've heard that to build a pc you need tweezers or pliers for jumpy screws, but I'm curious do I actually need that

A swiss army knife is all you really need

I mean it could come in handy. But more times than not, a magnetic screwdriver is really all you need

unless you're doing a really precise mod to your parts/case, you'll probably just need a screwdriver, preferably a magnetic one.

All you need. A shorter shaft would also work I like it to be easy to reach.
