Any word on when its launch is, as in the next successor to the 9700k/9900k?

Thank you :D

Expect a Gamescom announcement (20-24 August).

Mobile is shipping now.

Intel generally follows mobile after some time with "K" models and locked models for any specifically threatened market segments.

Lol..

Ask about what Intel is doing...Gilroar paints a very nice looking picture... "Already shipping... Expect K models soon!"

Ask the same question about AMD...

It's a bad situation folks, the factory is on strike, the margins are too thin, the boat is running late, the inventories are too low, there are whole sections of the chip that don't work right....

Giving these are supposed to be a near carbon copy to get the uplift AMD did from Zen 2 I expect a ton of doom and gloom about 10th generation.

These days doubling Speculative Execution to increase useable IPC is questionable at very best and potentially crippling if exploits are found and have to be fixed.

About the only interesting news from that is confirmation of Iris Plus so the 64mb/128mb L4 may return but at a questionable cost.

Edit: On package chipsets as well makes for an interesting difference from AMD as well.

I'm not sure. Ice Lake? We're still waiting on 10nm. I wouldn't even consider looking at anything from Intel until then. 14++++++++++++++++++...
