Gaming PC for College

Justyhead00

I'm looking in to building (or buying if similar price) a gaming PC for college next year which means it would have to be fairly future-proof until 2023. As far as specs go, I would just want to be able to play War Thunder, Halo Infinite, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and similar titles on a 144Hz monitor. I can go up to $2500 and would prefer to use Intel and Nvidia.

The people that make college gaming builds generally prefer an ITX build to make it easier to move around as well as take up less space in a dorm, so that's the direction I went with. There's also a g-sync monitor in there as well as some pretty good peripherals.

Hi, do you need the monitor included and is it 1080p 144Hz you are looking at? Also, do you need any peripherals (mouse and keyboard etc) or OS included?

Yes, and whatever the system would handle on max graphics without sacrificing that quality. I need peripherals and windows 10.

Or price cut on things that won't see a noticeable difference in performance.

You can get away with much less parts.

i would still go with 650W for future upgrades

I mean, he can still get away with 550w with an i9 9900k+RTX 2080 ti but if he does want overclocking headroom then getting the bitfenix formula gold 650 should be a good option.
