I'm building a new rig this month which will include a 2700 and an RTX2060.

I'm using an OLD custom build with a 35" cheap TV and 27" cheap monitor.

If I'm going to get back into PC gaming, I know I should get a gaming monitor.

FYI: I sit about 5 feet away on my recliner so pixel density is not a major concern.

I'm not in a rush to get the monitor, however I think $350ish is a good starting budget. Maybe I'll save a little more if a particular monitor is worth it.

If it matters I think I'll be happy with just 1080p as long as the the hz are high enough. ???
