This PSU is insanely cheap for 680 Watts. I don't really know anything about PSU's so could you please check this out for me. Thanks!

No, it's not!

That PSU should be avoided.

Everything on that PSU is unknown.

Combined power is very low for an 680 Watt PSU (Only 612W)

Not any safety certificates at all and no operating temperature either.

And the statement of *Apevia, that this unit runs with tolerances οf 5% on all rails means this PSU is either very old or insufficient for recent builds.

  • *High stability with 5% tolerance of 5V, 3.3V & 12V output)

If you are on a budget get this unit below:

I'm not on a budget. I have a 3000-ish budget. Will get a 750W instead.

The most of your builds on your saved part list are high end computer configurations.

So you should choose the PSU according to the above. :)

Don't choose psus by brand name. Every brand has its share of junk and excellent psus. Efficiency != psu quality, there a quite a few bronze rated units that are better quality than some gold rated units.

There are "non brand name" psus out their that are great quality. Look at delta psus for example.
