Hi all,

How well will this system perform if I want to game at 1440p and achieve 60 FPS for AAA titles?

Would you recommend any changes to save money or better performance etc?

Thanks!

The 2070 will very easily achieve that. Mine averages about 110 FPS on high settings with my 1440p monitor.

  • For a straight gaming PC, I would suggest an Intel i5-9600K or i7-9700K. Intel has much stronger single thread performance so it would result in a nice boost of FPS. Probably about ~10% since you plan to game in 1440p. That's of course a bit more expensive so it's up to you. The 2600 is still a great option.

  • I would personally get a 650W PSU if you plan to overclock or in case you upgrade later on.

Quick edit: Main use if for gaming. I won't be live-streaming on Twitch or anything and anything else will be Internet browsing/watching youtube or Netflix but I went with Ryzen as offers better price to performance.
