What's your PSU?
Thermaltake 500w smart dps g
Well, i would change that PSU with a better one soon.
And because of the above, i changed the build to the below:
Thx again. How well do u think this would preform with games like squad ..arma3 ...insurgency sandstorm etc
Should be able to run squad and ARMA 3 at ultra with more than 60 fps.
Insurgency sandstorm wouldn't be a problem on very high settings either.
that board is overkill for a 9400f especially for what i think might be a locked chip. Correct me if i'm wrong though.
Yes that's a locked processor, but for being able to get the Ram to run at 3200MHz you need an BIOS updated Z370 or just an Z390 board.
And there is no need to down vote me, if you don't know the fundamentals about Intel chip-set boards.
And because of that, you get a minus point from me too. Cheers!
And if you were smarter you would realize the main problem is not the board actually.
The build of the OP lacks performance, and it's not worth paying over a grand for such an attempt.
An AIO for an locked processor?
Extra 100 bucks for just RGB fans, really?
Not to mention, he can get a faster GPU with almost the same amount of money.
These are things worth mentioning, not the Z390 board.
A Z390 board makes the build future proof for even better and faster processors, with the ability to overclock as well.
