The old 1080 vs 1440 question

I'm thinking I should go 1440p 144hz monitor for my build, but can't fully decide. Can anyone suggest something in the 27 - 32 inch range that would make my build pop?

Not sure about your price point, but I've been loving my Asus Rog Swift PG279QZ. I grabbed it when it was at $599 on Amazon, and I have zero regrets. Picture is beautiful, gaming on it is incredible, and mine came with no problems re: back light bleed. Nothing but good things to say about it.

I guess you already answered your own question. Forget 1080p, it's been around since PS3/X360 days. Time to move up!

I would recommend something like this: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/ttnG3C/acer-monitor-xb271hubmiprz 27" 1440p IPS with a high refresh rate and G-Sync if required (cheaper options without it)..

I would suggest you go with "The 27″ Acer Predator Gaming Monitor with G-Sync" as you mentioned that you are using GeForce 2070 card so this monitor will help you in getting great FPS because as it has G-Sync which is especially for GeForce.
