Will be using for gaming, streaming, video/photo editting, and possibly vr and 3d rendering. Gaming is my main priority, so as long as everything else will preform decently it's good. The monitor is avalible for $335 NZD, but for some reason doesn't show the price right now. The buget was supposed to be $2000 NZD, but ended up going slightly above buget, so I guess $2100 is my buget now.

Let me just ask a few questions about what you changed ram: cheap ram from a trusted brand, all good SSD: I can easily store my important programs on 250gb, since I only have 100gb excluding the OS on my laptop and only run into problems with games. PSU: Is fully modular necessary? Case fan: same as the ram, cheap stuff from a trusted brand, will keep

ImperiousBattlestar 1 point 26 days ago
  • 2933MHz is natively supported by the motherboard (that 3000MHz will actually downclock)

  • Noctua is one of the best brands out there for fans (their static pressure is very good, and they'll be quieter, too)

  • Full modular isn't really necessary, but since it wasn't too much more over a semi-modular, it'll be better, ease-of construction wise

looks good, will keep the ram, since its not much faster than 3000mhz and doesn't require factory overclocking to be compatible with ryzen chips.

Doubles your SSD space and puts you back closer to your budget. I would add this cooler. https://nz.pcpartpicker.com/product/TnJtt6/cryorig-m9-plus-484-cfm-cpu-cooler-m9-plus

In all honestly it's a good set up you can take my set up for you with a grain a salt. i downgraded your gpu because you get a 10% for 68$ extra and upgraded your ssd to 500gb.

ImperiousBattlestar 1 point 26 days ago

you get a 10% for $68 extra

And how is this going to help him, if he’s possibly planning to move into graphically heavier workloads?

Noved 1 Build 1 point 26 days ago

I'm saying the 580 is 10% better for 68 dollars difference then the 570, my apologies for my incoherent comment and I added my storage but I see your list is different my browser my messed sorry the bad build tbh
