Hi. 2080 Ti Aorus. When i was used 1 pcie cable from psu my temps was 80C max. I tryed to plug by 2 pcie cables from psu and now temps are 86C max. Psu is Corsair 850RmX. Is this coincedence or its because of cables?

You bought a 2080ti without knowing why it has two power connectors?

To work properly you need to connect both power cables.

When you only have one cable it can't perform at specifications.

When you use both cables it can run at full speed, which is why it was hotter.

1 pcie cable was with 2 x 8 pin connectors. Now using 2 pcie cable each 1x 8 pin.

The only thing I can think of is that using 2 PCI-E cables separately would decrease a little bit of the airflow but that's just speculation.

Just use one PCI-E cable and adjust your fan curves to keep it below 80C.

I just slapped a Kraken G12 and a 360mm AIO to mine... done. max temps under normal extended loads with large OC are still like 43 C. CPU core is at about 2150mhz, memory is at about 8500mhz. watercooling is the way to go.
