So I am trying to make a PC that can handle both gaming and editing. I just wanna know if there is any major differences between the GPUs I mentioned in the title.

There isn't a major difference the 570 is a cut down 580 so it has less cores enabled.

It loses some performance which means for gaming you end up with slightly lower quality settings or slightly lower frame rates at the same settings.

Because of that AMD cuts pricing and it is cheaper.

Just jump on the YouTube and watch some benchmarks comparing them in games. You could also look up power usage if that concerns you. Maybe look to see if your video editing software supports them and which one would offer better performance. Hope that helps.

Average 15% performance difference as per this review -

(compared with 4gig 570, that shouldn't a whole lot of difference tho)

Check the other pages for performance in individual games.

I peg the RX580 as being perfect for your build. As for performance difference, most titles will show at least 10fps performance gain with RX580. Usually more than that. Might be a deal maker on some more demanding titles although monitor is freesync.
