Spanned Volume Error

SimplyJen

I'm trying to combine two drives into one but when I go to confirm the New Spanned Volume... I'm met with this error message: "There is not enough space available on the disk(s) to complete this operation." Both 250GB SSD drives are clean with nothing on them. What am I doing wrong?

Are they formatted properly? If they are, then in 'disk manager' it should say something like 'Unallocated space' if it does not say that it won't work. Are you trying to combine them into a logical disk that is larger than the disks combined? If so then you will get that error.
