Hello, I'm looking for some input on a PSU. I have a old Corsair 750TX still in the box. It was free and I was thinking about using it for my build I'm working on. The wattage capacity is definitely more then I need. The case I'm using has no windows,so I'm not worried about the modular aspect. I just want to know if this PSU may be safe to use? Thanks for the input

well, that PSU model is at least 11 years old. here is a many-years-old review: https://www.anandtech.com/show/2655 I dont know if I can rightly recommend using it, even if it is still in technically new condition.

I would not use a psu that old, It lacks basic protections that any modern psu include.

What's the system you will be using it?

Actually that PSU is very old, and therefore it would be advisable to use it on a Office capable PC or not at all if gaming is your main concern. :)
