Looking to upgrade my current pc, It was a pre-built dell computer because gpu and ram price's very super high. So it came with an

Upgrade price is $1500-$2000<--(CAD)

Ryzen 1700x (Stock Cooler) Random bell motherborad 8gb of random ram 1tb hard drive (Added another 1tb) Rx 580 8gb 460w power supply And some dell case that doesn't have good air flow

So what I want to upgrade is mostly: Motherboard Ram Power supply Case Gpu For motherboard I wan't something with good overclocking and good looks.

Power supply to be able to power a new gpu (What ever you pick)

I would say the cheapest ram upgrade would be another 8gb stick and miss match the two but if you do a whole new kit of 16gb and its over budget I wont care.

Case I want something like the Enthoo evolv glass, Or the corsair 570x mostly something that looks super clean but has tempered glass and maybe RGB (2018 after all)

Then for gpu...The rx 580 is going to my brother for an upgrade for him and for me I want something that seems like an upgrade so I personally feel like the 1070 isn't an upgrade it is better but not by super duper amounts so maybe a 1080 or even 1080ti (doubt it) or maybe even through is a 2070/2080 and maybe price it like that?

What is the exact model number of the Dell and what power supply did you add? Download CPU-Z it should show you the exact model number of the memory you already have.

Your also going to need a new operating system the one that came with the Dell PC is tied to it.

If you want to spend the rest of your money you could get an SSD and a better cooler. If not this should be perfect for you. You could also add case fans if you want since the enthoo evolv comes with 2x140mm in the front and 1x140mm in the rear. The motherboard has really good VRMs so you should be able to OC well on it. The 1080 ti that I chose also matches the motherboard though you could choose a cheaper 1080 ti if you wanted. I wouldn't go for a 2080/2070. The 1080 ti is still going to beat both of those and the 2080 ti is the only one that would perform better (speculatively), but it'll be more expensive. The RAM is asus aura compatible so you can sync everything up and make it look nice. That 650W PSU is high quality and should do the job for you. I'm not sure how it would work with a 2080 ti if you decided to go that route but it'll play nice with the 1080 ti.
