So I have this twitch build I want to do, but I am told that if I want to do anything better than 1080p @ 60FPS, I need a second PC to do the streaming.

Here is the build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/CNCharger/saved/QD89Jx

Here are the games I am looking at doing: -PUBG -Forza Motorsport 7 or 8 -Forza Horizon 4 (and maybe the previous 3) -Automation and BeamNG -Fortnite -Halo Infinity (and maybe some of the older ones). -Maybe GTA V -Minecraft Servers -Some other Powerful Games

Would I need a second PC if I am looking at 4K @ 60fps? Also, what would be a good build? (Preferably AMD, Intel can be pricey cause everyone knows them and they have had way better processors in the past till AMD created Ryzen).

Don't really know where to even start with what you said and the build you have.

First you have no 4K monitor even listed.

2nd your stuffing a lot of money in a pile of garbage case.

Question is are you using the Xbox to game in 4k then it's simple to stream with what your building.

First thing if your using tthe PC to game in 4K then you need a 4K monitor.

I will look at 4K Monitors. Though I may use a TV.

Fixed it. 4K 43" TV. (We have a 40 somewhat inch TV for one of our PC Monitors, so It shouldn't be a problem). Case I am not too worried about. Its a Cougar, Cougar make good cases. I can manage with a Cougar. Atleast it ain't a Ford.

Dual Streaming 4K @ 60FPS?

  • 1 point

You mean streaming from the Xbox and the PC at the same time?

A 4K TV has bad input lag not really good for FPS games you can be dead and your TV showes you killed them first.

A capture card is the best way to go but now I think your saying you need to do both of them at the same time. You need to state exactually what your trying to do and with what, at the same time or using one at a time. It's very important to know exactually what to give a accurate answer. I have never tried to stream from 2 items at the same time but am 100% sure it can be done just need to make sure what your talking about.

Playing 1 game and streaming to 2 different channels or playing 2 games and streaming 1 channel for each.

no, not XBOX and PC. PC and PC. The 4K monitors on here are ridiculous. I have a budget for the PCs and will build the Streaming Computer later. Besides, I played a whole lot of games on Multiplayer on a TV with an XBOX One, such as Star Wars Battlefront. I never had any lag.

It's not lag you can notice it is the lag fron the time the tv get the signal till it's displayed.

I should be able to fix that today. My brother decided he doesn't want to twitch stream, so I am going to downgrade his PC to suite his needs and get the monitor.

I never had trouble with a TV, really. I am going back to the TV cause it has more function and is less expensive ($300 for an amazing 43" TV vs $400+for an ok monitor that doesn't have a built in Roku or Smart TV Device).

New Build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/CNCharger/saved/BVKXP6

PS, it won't need to dual stream anymore, so I now have a dedicated streaming PC with 8GB Ram, Ryzen 5 2400G APU, 240GB Storage, and a 4K@60FPS Capture Card. All under 900.

I may include a 10GB Ethernet Card and AD Wifi Router. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/CNCharger/saved/6gkJ8d

The first thing you need to do is cut down on the crap that is not needed like the Xbox controllers, Your using a PC with a gaming keyboard and mouse. I would see absolutely no reason to buy 2 of the same PC's and both the Draw thing. Just the PC build is fairly bad without adding all the crap, their no need to spend 35 bucks on a surge protector when a 10 buck one from wall mart will do the same thing.

You could use the mid tower version of that case and get a regular size ATX board if you wish.

that is saving you over 1600 bucks and frees up the money for the 2nd PC for each one (streaming) this build and add a decent capture card to it about 150 bucks more you really need a PCIE card not a USB..

I prefer an XBOX Controller or Steering Wheel for some games, and a Keyboard for others. I only asked for a dedicated streaming PC Build, not a whole rework of the entire desk. Besides, that last build is lacking a monitor, something I currently don't have.
