building new rig with -i7-8700k -evga 1070ti FTW x3-140mm fans x1-120mm fans -asus z370-a hypercool 212 m.2 sata 7200 hard drive corsair 2x8gb sticks

with a 500watt evga PSU

It's enough, but if you are gonna overclock I would go with a 650W. Also allows for more future upgradability.

There are some benchmarks with lower power consumption than the chart below.

But, i will post this one to be sure.

That system above uses a i7-8700K at 5.2GHz (most probably you will not hit that number anyway), paired with an GTX 1080Ti.

So, you are fine with an 500 watt PSU. ;)

However i would change that BQ PSU with this one below:
