Ultra Wide size?

I know 24" is the sweet spot for 16:9 @ 1080p but what about 21:9 for 1080p? I'm eyeing an LG 29" ultra wide @1080p and am not sure if that is too big and would cause artifacting, or whatever when gaming, my face sits about 2ft from the screen. They have a 25" cheaper but it seem too small.

I have the 25" LG Ultra Wide (May not be the same model since I have the 75hz version) and it is about the same vertical hight as my old 21" 16:9. I would say go for the bigger one if it is in your budget but if not the 25" is still a good option. I have seen the 29" and there is not that much of a difference. But if you can get the 29" go for it. I have not had any problems in gaming when it comes to screen tearing or anything like that. Only problems I have in games is 16:9 cutscenes but that has nothing to do with gameplay. If you play online games that have native support for 21:9 then you have an advantage over anyone using a 16:9. I would say having a wider aspect ratio is just as big of an advantage as having a higher refresh rate.

Thanks for that but no I don't play pvp type games on PC, but I do like fps SP games. Ima go for it!
