Should I use a PSU calculator? I heard both that they are reliable/non-reliable. (I don't know which to believe)
Any recommendations for a budget PSU?
BitFenix - Formula Gold 450W https://pcpartpicker.com/product/jfs8TW/bitfenix-formula-gold-450w-80-gold-certified-atx-power-supply-bp-fm450ulag-7r
Or if you want a bit cheaper Corsair - CX (2017) 450W https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Q7L7YJ/corsair-cx-2017-450w-80-bronze-certified-atx-power-supply-cp-9020120-na
B1 is already 4+ years old. There are better and cheaper units on the market like the CX450(M) from corsair.
Ah. That was the unit Im currently using, and I haven't had issues with it.
Am not saying that it is a bad unit. Just saying that it is a bit old and you can get better for the price today ;)
Right. See my response to Lord Vagabond's comment.
Way too much for that PSU. You can get a Corsair CX for less which blows it away.
Ah. Well, I bought this PSU with a MIR back in 2016 for about $20, and it hasn't let me down since.
