I was going to do a 1080ti, ryzen 7 build and was thinking if i could use an old 620w s12-II evo.

If it works and your build doesn't come close to the 600 Watt mark then yes you could use it.

Good PSU, but 12V voltage has drops if the PSU works near to its max potential.

Its starting to show its age and is even below today mid range standards due to lacking OTP protection, doesn't support C6/C7 power states, its not quiet, its not modular, and is group regulated but it is safe to use although replacing it wouldn't hurt.

It works, but it's 8 years old. I would honestly just get a new PSU.

I guess I'll use it for now and replace it as soon as I find a good deal.
