Can I shut off my surge protector without shutting off my PSU's switch?

Hi everyone! I have my PC connected to a surge protector/power strip that connects to my wall. I was wondering if it was safe to just turn off the surge protector's power switch without first turning off my PC PSU's power switch. It is kind of annoying to turn it off from the back of my case. I don't do this a ton but I do if I'm going to be gone from my house for more than a day.

Is this safe? Or do I need to always turn off the PSU's power before turning off the Surge Protector's power?

Thanks!
