OK so i know its very cheap and all but could you please help me in figuring out if this will work? (And also what power supply to use bc im totally clueless..)

PARTS:

Intel Core I5 7400 Quad Core Processor - 248

MSI b250 Pro-VD Mother Board - 99

Patriot 8gb (2 x 4) DDR4 2133 Memory - 85

Hitachi Travelstar 5K1000 1TB 2.5 5400 rpm Internal Hard Drive - 80

Asus Radeon R5 1gb video card - 39

Silverstone PS08B (Black) MicroATX mid tower case - 45

ASUS - DRW-24D5MT DVD/CD WRITER - 19

Microsoft Windows 10 Operating system. - 129

Power supply: ????????

TOTAL: $620 (Not really much wiggle room, can only go about 80$ for power supply, if this wont work then i can maybe go over a little bit, also, this is all in Au Dollars).

Ok, umm, thanks if you bother to help.

EVGA, Corsair or Seasonic are well reknown companies for PSUs. So have something similar to this filter

Since you are probably not going to overclock (cant overclock the cpu), a 450W will probably be much more than enough for you. If you are really tight on the budget (no more than 80$), you could always downgrade to a 80+ rated (instead of 80+bronze on my filter) but I would really advise against that. The quality on 80+ bronze are usually much better.

Would also suggest having at least a 7200 rpm HDD instead of the 5400 rpm. (The one I have chosen costs even less than yours and is much better)

BTW, currently your build listed (without power supply) totaled to 744$, and I am only missing the 39$ gpu.

My computer has an R7 graphics card, and it's pretty terrible. If you're getting an i5, get a much better graphics card. I recommend a 1050 ti or maybe 1060.
