Hi all

So I was looking at a new GPU, and came across the MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X+. Would this be a good upgrade to 1440p gaming/light autoCAD from my GIGABYTE RX 460 4GB?

For $50-100 more you can get GTX 1070. The GTX 1070 is about %30 better than the 1060. That would be a huge upgrade when looking at price for performance.

Unfortunately the 1070 is just out of budget, but thanks for the advice :)

If you reread my comment you'd see I am comparing the 1060 to the 1070. In his question he linked the MSI GeForce GTX 1060, which is $289. The cheapest 1070 is $320. $290-320 = $30.

I figured it would be a pretty good upgrade, considering the higher clock speed and 9Gbps GDDR5 the 1060 has. Thanks!
