Hey there, i just ordered lots of parts to build my first pc! :D

ive been using a laptop that has a 2.5" 160 GB sata hard drive. is there anyway i can just wipe this hard drive and put this in a new desktop pc without any problems? If so, is there any extra things needed?

thanks :)

  • If computer case has drive bay(s) or designated spot(s) for 2.5" drives, should not be a problem.
  • If computer case does not have above, purchase a 3.5" to 2.5" adapter/bracket.
